First I check if it's a card farm. If it is, the other one wins automatically. Second I check their worldbuilding. Then I resort to the niceness factor.

Ngl though I just vote on the first one, go and vote one the other first one, repeat the process. Although I might go a little checking first.

Heheh just joking. I look at the population, amount of money, civil rights, economy, political freedom, and well most stats like 10% 5% and 1%. If a nation has more than the other then that nation gets a point and whoever gets the most point will be picked by me. If they tie then it’s neither.

Considering the vast amount of puppets, this is not a very well-thought out system. Unless clicking "Neither" starts filtering those nations from the queue, this entire event is basically a crapshoot.

I hope there's some sort of wrinkle that comes in later, because at the moment this is bland at best

It seems to be entirely random what nations you are given to choose between. We cannot vote for who we like, just between whatever two random puppets we happen to get to choose between.

Basically: Once you see Yahlia, vote for Yahlia. The most influential nation that I see on there so far is Euroslavia the mod, so it's not all puppets.

And I saw the legendary SalusaSecundus. Good nations do show up, just not often.

I feel like this could actually be a really fun and interesting game.

...The problem is that you have maybe a few hundred active NS players ranking 240,000+ nations. Unless this goes on indefinitely, most nations will be lucky to get 1 or 2 matches. Maybe only WA nations should have been ranked, given that the vast majority of non-WA nations are puppets for card farming or R/D or whatever the Wombles are supposed to be for.

I'll keep clicking. Maybe I'll see one of my nations, but I probably won't. Only 2/40 had even been in a match last I checked
