I'm not sure if the region actually ever had the fascist tag in the first place. Even if the old gvt did at one point, there's a few nice pieces of evidence that'll ease the mind
1) fascism and natsoc is strictly prohibited per our wfe, and bad new nations are kicked on sight
2) none of the problematic people are still active in the region in any capacity
3) the repeal wasn't pulled due to new evidence of fascism
4) we help liberate victims of fascist raider regions

Yes it did and it was allied to fascist regions too, and the old goverment and the new goverment always answered to the "Kaiser".

Well that tag was odd, even me being here with the region on two accounts for 5 years, can’t even tell you why it’s there, even I don’t know. Though I can tell you about the allied part as it was out of necessity not agreement, at the time have allies, no matter their “actions” was important as the region was involved in action against regions like the Red Fleet, DEN, The Spear Danes and Wardens, Black Hawks. The regular bunch were a threat and even worse was an escalating action over a region that became a dog pile of separate raiders for the glory of one upping the other, proving it was vital to have allies, but our options were, well less than spectacular.

Actually funny thing about those poster, in the end, they weren’t completely authorized we kinda had people working on that and when we noticed it was kinda late and I was in that conversation and we tried retroactively fixing it but the damage was done and we tried fixing by switching to Austro-Hungarian propaganda but then the liberation made thing untenable, this isn’t an excuse or trying to move things along just wanted to share that bit of story.
