Conservation of Names

I propose Conservation of Names, familiar names come back in new Issues.

Issue #1 is Military, the Options are presented by General Arthur, Captain Brienne, Sergeant Charles, Private Deborah and Peacenik Edward. You chose, next time the Issue is Military, your Chosen name is promoted to a higher rank.

Issue #2 is Education, the Options are presented by Professor Fiona, Teacher George, Student Hermione, Schoolboy Ian and Ignoramus Julius. You chose, next time the Issue is Education, your Chosen name is promoted to a higher rank.

Even more complicated as well as choosing a Plus Option, you also chose the Worst option and that name is demoted..

This would be very complicated to implement, but Conservation would be nice.

I kind of understand what you mean, but considering how many issues about, I don’t know, the military there are, I don’t think there are enough military ranks. Also, that’s going to both require a crushing amount of editing from the IEs, and a lot more oversight from issues authors. Plus, that’s going to retire good ol’ @@RANDOMNAME@@, so I’m not too keen on this.

No, why would that make any more sense to "promote/demote" people? There are tons of various speakers bringing their opinion to the leader, why would anyone want to keep track of every name that is now randomized? That would mean a lot of more storage for each account and not have any benefit - aside from some continuity of "story". Also, ranks in military etc. don't show up in every other issue, so who would seriously remember a name from several days ago? Sorry, this proposal does not make any sense to me.
