The Red Sun Military is a new raider organization currently heavily in the works even as you read this, and is focused on the common and uniting goal of raiding. If you are not in the know of what this term means, the word raiding, otherwise ‘invading,’ is a term used to describe what happens when an organization or military enters a region in order to seize the position of World Assembly Delegate, which can then be used for many things.
When we ‘raid’, we do so for fun and bonding. Raiding isn’t purely about wanting to cause havoc and grief in a region, though some may use that as their sole reason for doing it, and for many it definitely contributes to their reason. It’s more so to encourage development, skill, reflex, and bonding of individuals partaking in the organization, and is often used as a diplomatic-development initiative between other organizations with similar goals. Many operations will include other organizations, which is why I say ‘diplomatic-development,’ because the reason these exist is for two things: to extend each other’s operational capabilities, and to get other organizations together to share a similar enjoyable experience.
Raiding is not meant to be an ‘evil’ act, and we do not intend to make it that. Though the practice does involve sacking a region, these effects are easily undone and is meant to contribute to the overall NationStates experience. What’s life without a few thrills?
Our diplomatic goals are to forge and create a long-lasting harmony between other organizations and us. We intend to do so by partaking in foreign raids, operations, and engaging in generally friendly undertakings in order to strengthen the bond between us. This allows for the term ‘raider unity’ to hold a truly ultimate meaning.
Diplomatic endeavors with all regions are highly encouraged here, regardless of their organizations status, size, or whether or not
The Red Sun is a strictly raider-oriented martial, which means the only ‘defending’ that exists in such an environment is the defense of our or other another organization(s) occupied region(s). This does not mean, however, that we will not work with organizations that partake in both raiding and defending, such as those rum and debate-loving natives in The North Pacific.
Embassy requests are encouraged for all nations, even the embassy-loving ones that seem to send requests to all regions. You will be able to tell the difference between a raided-region embassy and a regular region embassy because raided region embassy requests will remain as requests, while regular region embassy requests will either be accepted or rejected.
Embassy establishment denotes formal relations between you and this organization. This means you are expected to relay an ambassador or yourself into our discord server or forums, and they are expected to engage in activities related to maintaining such formalities.
The term ‘raider unity’ has already been used in this post, so I will explain what this means.
Raider Unity means unification among raiders, expressly in the way that we remain harmonious with one another. It is unacceptable to purposefully engage (even if its inactive) another raider organization in a blatant attempt to cause some form of havoc. This includes server or forum raiding, and raiding on NationStates. Doing so will earn you and your puppets nations a ban-eject from our (soon to be established) jump point and heartland.
The inner workings of our organization entails many things. For one, when entering, you are REQUIRED to list your puppet nations that will be used during raids. If you have none just yet, say so. When do you end up creating them, you will send a telegram, discord message, or forum message to a Colonel or above so that your puppet can be registered in a super-secret puppet spreadsheet, so that we can keep track of who is who, and log who partook in raids. This is entirely for reference purposes if the need arises.
Additionally, the following are a list of current military ranks and how they are achieved
