I barely could login today. I joined after discovering this game on reddit, and hopefully Drew's community won't be toxic and follow the rules. I sent a telegram to him about how to war, so hopefully they will discover the fun world of RP.

Don't even try. We have some Drew people in our region, and our RP quickly degenerated into a sea of ungrammatical one-line posts.

Well see yeah we all thought it was temp but now every time a video comes out this happens also these people are not integrating into our communities. In my region we got one active person and he was a douche and kinda unironically racist and I do not need that in my community. They are simply a burdern, periodt

Your experience is not synonymous with that of others. I've met a few people who are rough around the edges from this, sure, but I've also met some great folks.

Stop generalising a group based off of the actions of one person.

Well considering the demographics Drew Durnill appeals it is safe to assume a lot of them are like that. A lot of regions have increased by 100, 200, 300, etc nations and actually activity commitment hasn't increased that much in the regions I have seen.

I think, this could be a great opportunity for small regions in terms of recruitment. These new nations can really grow a region.

Again, not all will be like that, but many of them will be pretty young and immature.

Hmm... I see. That argument definitely has merit, but I believe that if we see those kinds of posts, we should redirect them to examples of how to roleplay properly. Or people can set up RP threads for noobs, where they can learn. (This part was an edit)

As someone who has had a hand in governing a region where almost all nations CTE, the ones that stay are usually great people.

I don't care where they go, so long as it isn't somewhere objectionable. Happy to see so much new blood here to suffer with the rest of us in this inescapable game here to share in the joys of the game. x)

But seriously, we all have our work cut out for us. NationStates has not seen activity spikes of this scale since before I even started playing.

They tend to create multiple accounts with "Banana" in the name. Just because they created their account recently doesn't mean they are new.

At this point it's still debatable whether anything they've done is commend worthy. Especially considering the lack of depth in both videos.
