BREAKING: NATIONSTATES ALGORITHM EXPOSED-FAVORS OSIRIS, TSP!

[Ever-Wandering Souls]

With a recent influx of new nations data points, and a recent efflux of responsibilities, I decided to analyze the distribution of nation foundlings across over 17,000 data points in the past 24 hours. These are their results. DUN DUN.

New Foundings:

The Nations of Bam Bam	1

As you can see from this data, TSP received about 150 more nations than TWP, a difference of almost one full percent...but worse, Osiris received 30 more nations than Balder, a difference of almost 4%! Clearly...and by clearly I mean that I did not consider statistical significance at all...there is favoritism in the algorithm towards certain regions!!

Congratulations, though, to TEP and Lazarus, for being decidedly average.

I find it funny that you could reverse the order and essentially get the order of ejection frequency. At least in the feeders.

2. "World Activity" sorted only for "Foundings"
3. Click the "More" button a FUCKTON of times
4. Copy it all
5. Paste into Excel
6. Find and replace tool:
>"CDT: " TO ";"
>" was refounded in " to ";"
>" was founded in " to ";"
>"." to "" (nothing)
7. Data: Text to Columns, delineated, by semicolon
8. Delete column A with timestamp fragments (shift remaining cells left)
9. Insert: Pivot Table based "regions" column, with field "regions" as both the Rows and Values

Result: A Pivot Table showing the frequency count of each region name.

Bonus steps:
1. Separate pivot table into two descendant "foundings" and "refoundings" tables
2. Auto-generate pie charts based on those tables.

The browser-side website code needs to get that information from the servers somehow so hypothetically one could reverse-engineer that system if it isn't publically documented

Also, for now, I'm still a lot better at excel than I am at actual coding

There are Strict Rules for interacting directly with the HTML NS Site with scripts - on a serious note, make sure you follow them if you ever attempt such a thing.

API use is encouraged, which is why there is also, as I have been reminded, a full "happenings" shard ;P
