Salve! and thank you for taking the time to read this thread, I hope I won't dissapoint.

Heirs of Rome is a new user created region that I want to turn (if I succeed) into a powerhouse of democratic regional politics, involve in military gameplay and inter-regional diplomacy; together with the future members.
The region is themed after the Roman Republic and is based around a Constitution, that for the time being is a provisory one, until a proper constitutional convention can be formed and an official constitution be enacted by a democratic vote.

What will you be able to involve in the Heirs of Rome?

• Debate and create legislation in the Citizen Assembly.
• Vote and participate in magistrate elections.
• Take an active part in running the regional government by becoming a magistrate.
• Participate in military gameplay, waging war on other regions for glory and to defent Rome's interests, as a ranked member of the Legion.
• Become an ambassador to an allied region and take part in the regional Council of Diplomatic Affairs.
• Roleplaying games

I'm looking for members to help establish a proper region. I can't say I have much experience but I am ambitious and full of purpose.
I have set up API recruitment and also have 30.000 stamps in the bank for recruitment use. Any advice on efficient recruitment would be highly appreciated.

Looks exciting! Roman-themed regions aren't easy to pull off (if your goal is originality ), but you seem to be up to the challenge. One suggestion, I'm on mobile right now and the flags in your display in the first post are a bit messed up. Might want to look at that a bit.

Thank you, and yes, I noticed the flags problem but didn't managed to find a right solution to work both for desktop and mobile. Maybe only making the font smaller.

A constitution for the Heirs of Rome

To set up an initial functional government that can rule lawfully, a provisory constitution has been written and established until a definitive constitution can be written and debated by a regional constitutional convention and voted on by the citizens of the Heirs of Rome.

To ensure that the regional administration doesn't fall entirely on the current Consul, a player with NationStates experience has been appointed Praetor. Verxilia has joined the Magistrate Council of the Heirs of Rome!

We don't genereally lock region threads on request of the OP/regional officials, as people have tried to use that to suppress discussion in the past. The region still exists, and I think it's fair for it to still have a thread in case anyone wants to discuss anything further on it.

We can transfer OP status on request, even when the OP has been mod-deleted. If you'd like that done, post a request in the Moderation forum.
