Why are feeder regions names so bland and generic?

But in short: eventually players caught on that the generic naming of Pacifics would imply the creation of “the East Pacific.” Imperialists preempted the GCR designation by creating their own “The East Pacific.” Then that colony was invaded... and a couple of days later became a GCR in a freak coincidence that shaped the future of the region.

I agree the names are a little bland.

What we should do is, have them stop being feeders and just be founderless regions. Then create a new set of feeders with cooler themed names.

They're like that because they're just starter regions that were created really long ago. They don't need to have super cool names and I don't see the point of this complaint. Basic isn't bad.

That is actually a really cool idea. I had a similar thought of making some of the old founderless regions into feeders, which I think be pretty cool too.
