HEM, You did an incredible job with this survey. The questions were very well thought out and your analysis was sharp. Thank you for including the google form responses. I particularly enjoyed reading through the short answer responses. I think the results, analysis, and conclusion that you draw can probably be exacerbated by the advertisement methods you mentioned between the 2018 and 2019 survey. Meaning, because nations who are in the NS Gameplay forum and the NS Leaders Discord server are largely older players and would more likely prefer forums to nations that were telegrammed, it likely that the overall drop between 2018 and 2019 in forum usage is more substantial than the numbers may reveal. Your conclusion is backed and has me questioning my role in my region and whether I am doing enough to sustain its community. Only time will tell, but I want to thank you for starting this discussion on what it means to be successful in NS and the optimal platform for sustaining a government (if that is the goal).
