I have played NationStates on and off since 2012, particularly from the period from 2014 to 2017. Back then I enjoyed being a part of this community. I have always enjoyed being with my friends in comrades in my home region the USSD, as well as politicking in other regions, espionage, and of course raiding. I will never forget the raiding groups I was originally part of when I first began my NS "career". They were ancient and glorious and yet with one swift stroke they were struck down. Along with them went most of the happiness I got from playing. I do not regret the time I spend raiding and wreaking havoc, I apologize for nothing. I have done nothing that deserves apologizing that I have not already made up for. I do however regret the rest of the time I spent on this sorry excuse for a "game" which is effectively an advertisement for a book that just happened to gain traction on the hellscape that was the early 2000s internet. I will give my thanks to no one, partly as most of them shall not be named, or would not wish to be named, and I will respect that. But I will never again respect leaders of mainstream regions in NS nor the extremely biased fenda mod team (with Jakker being the sole exception). I would like to note though that despite my infamy and reputation both onsite and offsite I have not been unfairly punished for that, and I commend moderation for that one thing. I am absolutely ecstatic to finally be rid of the burden that this absolutely awful site has been on me for the past several years. I will only miss raiding, and those I once raided with. The worthy will join me in my search for new horizons. I never thought this day would come, but thank fuck that it did. The USSD will be around for eternity, while those who remain here are destined to tear apart and rot at the core. I simply plan to maintain the nations Vetelo, Borgeschtistan, and Travelling Kiwi Birds, all of the other regions I currently control can go to the ravenous dogs that will inevitably descend upon them. I will be around for a bit to see the responses to this thread and then I will be basically gone from this place.
