Question about BBCode anchors

I'm sorry if this is the wrong place for this.

When using the anchor code to have a link to something that is in the same dispatch, a nation has to input the correct dispatch ID for the id to work. If I was going to post a dispatch which involved the anchor code, I would need to post the dispatch, find out the ID and only then could I put in the correct dispatch ID into the anchor code.

I pretty sure that's how it works, but I'm wondering if there is a way to avoid having to post the dispatch first before going back and editing it to include the correct ID. I hope this is clear enough.

If I am getting what you mean, then you can do that with the hash (#).

This would be the link:

I've tried that out, and it hasn't worked. Thanks for trying though.

Maybe this will explain the issue in a clearer way. It's an example from one of my dispatches, tweaked a little to make it better. The anchors only provide links to places within the same dispatch.

When posting a dispatch with anchors, in my experience I have had to post the dispatch first (without knowing the dispatch ID) and then edit it to put in the ID of that dispatch so that the anchors work within it.

My question is, is there a way to get around that, so I can prepare a dispatch with anchors, post it and have the anchors work without having to post the dispatch first, look at the ID of the dispatch and then add it in to the anchor code.
