Changes to the Admiralty Board Announced

After being appointed to the Admiralty Board in May of this year as Admiral of Sankara Squadron, comrade Zenganopoli has made the decision to step down from his position. His passionate dedication to anti-fascist action -- to combating fascism wherever it appears, regardless of time, place, or convenience -- will we remembered, missed, and, to the best of our ability, held high as an example of resilience and the revolutionary spirit of our anti-fascist struggle.

As such, the Admiralty Board has approved the following promotion:

Ayanka, current Captain of Sankara Squadron of the Fleet, is promoted to Admiral of Sankara Squadron.

Congratulations to Ayanka for a well-deserved promotion for their service to The Red Fleet and the cause of anti-fascist action on NationStates, and to Zenganopoli for a well-deserved shore leave.

Changes to the Admiralty Board Announced

After years of fighting the fascist menace and protecting generally left-aligned regions alongside The Communist Bloc's Peoples Revolutionary Armed Forces, the Admiralty Board of The Red Fleet and the Council of Ministers of The Communist Bloc are proud to announce that the Peoples Revolutionary Armed Forces has merged into The Red Fleet. It is the hope of all involved that this move will strengthen our ability to coordinate and carry out our prime directive: fighting fascism on NationStates.

As such, the Admiralty Board has approved the following promotions:

Ubertas, former General of the Peoples Revolutionary Armed Forces, is promoted to Joint Squadron Admiral of the Huey P. Newton Squadron.

Trabardia,former General of the Peoples Revolutionary Armed Forces, is promoted to Joint Squadron Admiral of the Sankara Squadron.

Congratulations to Ubertas and Trabardia for a well-deserved promotion for their service to the cause of anti-fascist action on NationStates.

While nothing has topped our integral role in the destruction of The Iron Confederacy in August of last year, we have continued to take the fight to fascists all over NationStates. Fleet sailors and marines participated in every Antifa jump over that time, including the capture of The Left Nationalist Pact and The Free Republican Commonwealth, as well as the defense of Eurasia. Sadly, or gladly rather, it has been raining on Fascists Parade for months now, and the Fleet has even begun training for multi-region tag raids.

Also notable of late are the Fleet's refounds and hawks of nearly uncountable fascist regions. While United Arkadia and Enfor Private military region are now ours, it turns out that, actually, Nobody likes a Commie everyone dearly loves us commies! An even larger boost to our esprit de corps came with our joint operation with The Pacific and The MT Army to take and destroy two passworded jump points (Farkas Lovagok and Sereg Farkas) belonging to the notorious fascist nest of Farkasfalka - one of which even had an active founder. And just a few nights ago, The Red Fleet grabbed thirteen out of fourteen trophy holdings of the now defunct region The National Socialist American Legion in a single update, only losing one region to other attacking forces.

The biggest news, however, is the consolidation of the Fleet into the official fighting force of the entire NSLeft alliance, including the merge of the Peoples Revolutionary Armed Forces of The Communist Bloc directly into the Red Fleet. PRAF comrades have integrated seamlessly into the Fleet, and sortie participation is already at a level higher than the sum of the two predecessor orgs' rosters. Organizationally, the Fleet's two existing squadron admirals have been joined by the former Generals of the PRAF: Ubertas joins Sierra Lyricalia as admiral of the Huey P. Newton Squadron, and Trabardia joins Ayanka as admiral of the Thomas Sankara Squadron. The Fleet's leadership flexibility is now at an all-time high, and the world should expect to see us in action in every possible theater.

The future of the Fleet is bright - together we will continue to aggressively target fascists all across NationStates, and come to the defense of comrades site-wide.

A spectre is haunting NationStates... the spectre of communism.

On October 1st, 2023, NSLeft was hit with a direct and unprovoked attack on our collaborative frontier region Solidarity by a massive alliance of anti-leftist forces. With The Red Fleet mothballed, NSLeft had little infrastructure and manpower to respond in turn and Solidarity was lost to these invaders. Now, these regions continue to threaten our member regions and the very presence of leftist regions on this site all while harbouring conservatives, defending monarchists, and hampering anti-fascist operations.

This cannot stand.

Effective immediately, The Red Fleet will be reactivating, reorganising, and remobilising to defend the interregional left and hamper right-wing and anti-leftist forces across NationStates. This renewed effort will require hard work and dedication from each and every comrade in NSLeft as we fight adversaries that are more numerous and more experienced than us and only through determination and revolutionary ardour can NSLeft continue to carry the flame of the interregional left through the encroaching darkness.

The Red Fleet will be accepting members of The Red Marines, who will be our updating force jumping at updates (12 noon and midnight Eastern U.S. Time) and The Red Navy, who will be our piling force (and are also welcome to jump if they're available). Each and every Sailor counts and we'll need all the comrades we can get.
