A lot of issues are getting conflated here, and I think it's worth focusing on the things that should get someone blacklisted from Nationstates: bigotry directed at other players and serious false OOC accusations.

People keep bringing up being a leaker and lumping that into that, but tbh I don't really care if someone is leaking? That's apart of the espionage in the game and should not be conflated with the other issues in my opinion.

Like many other behaviors, leaking can be part of the game, but it can also be taken too far. In this case, he did it because of the OOC matters you've referenced, so it's part and parcel of the problematic OOC behavior. You can't really separate the two when his OOC behavior is what drove the leaking.

I would imagine the reason leaking is being brought up more often is no one wants to get slapped with a Defamation warning from Moderation, even though anything they'd say wouldn't actually be defamatory because it would be 100% true, and could be backed up by hard evidence. That of course doesn't bother Moderation, they're fine with calling the truth lies and warning you for it if it will effectively silence discussions of bad OOC off-site behavior.

I think the reason you were warned was because of bad on site behavior. You can't use off site grievances to justify what you said (regardless of the veracity of it). I personally think Moderation has been more than accommodating on this issue, but that's their prerogative. A line needed to be drawn imo.

Moderation literally will not protect you, or anyone else, from bad behavior off-site. So that's not a solution, at all.

Banning Money created a safer space for vulnerable members of our community, and you wanting to go after Cormac for "omg so toxic" doesn't change that. I sincerely hope Money decides to infiltrate the North Pacific next, if you're really so skeptical about our reasons.
