Last year Google pranked me with an announcement of the Google Gnome. It was really great and shaped like a gnome, but I was rather confused because Google Home already exists. Then at the bottom of the page in small letters, it says, "Happy April Fools' Day!" If you know anybody who might be eating oreos tomorrow, you can switch the filling with toothpaste. Also, try wrapping grapes in lindt easter egg wrapping.

Here's my idea: A blob invades the nations and they have to fight back against it, losing population to the blob if they don't comply. It sounds like Z-Day, but there's a clear difference: the blob appears in certain nations first and spreads via embassies and in the same region. So, it's possible to not play if you are in a passworded single-nation region with no embassies.

Think of Toonami's "The Intruder," only with the intruder in your nations instead of on a ship. Also, you can't permanently destroy the blob - as long as you have an embassy, it can come back. That's the main difference to Z-Day.

Yeah, it's 10:00pm in England. Here in the drought-ridden sh*thole of California, it's 2pm. In the Tornado Queendom (Austria), it's 11pm.

Honestly, that would make a good April fool's joke.

Put in some elements of NationDates too, so that you can find random regions to nuke and zombify at the same time.

When you get an issue, it comes on a little faux newspaper. In the top right hand corner* it tells you how much it costs.
