Respectfully, Harry, I don't believe that Enadia could call itself a good example of what this Accord stands for. I understand that Enadia has made some PR efforts to clean up its act, but based on the logs that I have seen from Enadia and especially Enadian justifications for why that was in any way okay (it was not okay), I wouldn't be comfortable adding Enadia as representative of this Accord.

I'm pleased to see that more regions want to join this and that there are some ideas on how to develop this Accord further. I think that universal guidelines would be good to have.

Instead, the basic etiquette for public channels and areas should be is always assume there is a minor present. Would you say that in front of or to a minor? Later, if you have really gotten to know a person and they have consented in some clear and visible manner that is another situation that is private if safe and consensual. Don't make sexual comments to or about strangers on NS. This is not the venue.

I think that should be the standard as well, because most likely there is a minor present. In a survey conducted among residents of EMN, a little bit under 40% responded that they are 17 yo or less. I don't think that we are unique in that regard. This is an online game, it will mostly attract people in that demographic. I don't suspect that many people will pick it up after their mid 20s.

This is just based on my personal experience, but most folks I know got involved in Highschool or while in University/College. Between 15-21 years old would be a good number. This is only accounting for Gameplay related communities. There have been plenty of older folks who have come here for variety of reasons as well, but they weren't the majority I noticed. I found NS at 17 in Highschool, then got involved later when I was out of school. Now over a decade later I'm still here, even if barely.

Going back to that age range, there is likely also the possibility a lot of those 18-20 something might still be thinking like they did in Highschool (just now magically an adult with responsibilities they lacked before, I know I did for a bit), which can lead to behaving ridiculously.
