Well! Thanks for mentioning me there at the end. Since you did (and therefore made me aware that designs were being considered for a new logo, even if there's a chance that it might not be necessary,) I'll look into submitting a few ideas myself. I'm considering making my own mandala design, but I make no promises on that. Those things are pretty intricately designed, and I'm uncertain as to whether I can do it justice, but I will at least try my hand at it while I'm kicking around some ideas.

New President Elected, Cabinet Sworn-in

India had it's February General Elections which would elect the President of the region (WA Delegate), Cabinet members and the Parliament Members. All the contestants of the election won unopposed. The New President surpassed the outgoing president in endorsements at the major update of 12-2-2022. The outgoing president was appointed the new Vice President for the term.

Minister of Home Affairs: Gujarati Republic
Minister of External Affairs: Madhyarashtra
Minister of Cultural Affairs: Pallapati

Three member nations of the region was elected unanimously to the People's Assembly or Jana Sabha, which is the legislative branch of the region.
Members of Jana Sabha: Rajgadh, Dravidian Republic, TheBest01 and the Cabinet members.

Presidential Order

To be supportive of the current times, and changing scenario we will be removing the "anti-communist" tag of the region. The tag, originally intended for anti maoist, anti naxal but since they have no such tags in ns, so we had to go with anti communist.

This sent a particularly wrong message to the community as a whole, and people who weren't extremists, but mere communists.

This shouldn't mean we are losing focus on the main issue, we will continue to condemn and give no voice to the extremes of the political compass, left or right.

We are strictly anti-extremist, you are free to practice anything that isn't extremist, in the region.

On other news, we shall also be adding LGBTQ friendly tag to show our support and love to the LGBTQ community.

This decision was taken after the approval of the entire cabinet as an unanimous decision.

Here, when we say extremism, we refer to any ideology that espouses bigotry, hatred, intolerance and toxic sectarianism. Since communism is a pretty massive umbrella term with lots of tendencies and currents within it, and many of them not being toxic (as you mention, the council and libertarian communist ideologies to name a few), we think it is unfair to have the tag. Also, the authoritarian communist ideologies you mention, which I believe refers mainly to Marxism-Leninism, does not fit into the extremist tag because most MLs and ML political parties today in India (both the region and the rl country) have reoriented and moved away from their violent and sectarian views.

The tag was mainly put, keeping in mind the violent and sectarian Maoist naxal movement in rl India. But since this is mostly a fringe movement, and most communists in India have denounced it, we believe having this tag is unfairly exclusive.

That being said, as we have said in the announcement, we will continue to take a hard stance on extremism. Maoists, fascists and any other person, regardless their political ideology, if they are behaving in a bigoted, toxic, sectarian or fanatical manner, they will be banned from this region.

Better Bureaucracy, Better Functioning

The People's Assembly (Jana Sabha / Parliament) of India passed the "Executive Staff Incorporation Act" which introduces bureaucracy in the region. With the bill passing in the parliament with absolute majority, makes every citizen in the region to apply for executive staffs (Foreign Affairs, Home Affairs, WA Affairs and Cultural Affairs) as well as having a seperate signup for the Indian Armed Forces. The first week after the new system was introduced saw a bunch of applicants mainly for the Foreign Affairs office and World Assembly Affairs office. The Foreign Affairs office is temporarily headed by the Prime Minister and has been doing well in general.

IndiaWiki : Another Step to Documentation

After months long wait and trying various softwares, the regional integration group headed by Xorland (IKTeam) completed the formatting and installation of the region's own encyclopedia which was named IndiaWiki. The IndiaWiki is looked forward to be a long time used project of the region and runs in their own Mediawiki server. The Wikipedia formatting has been done in such a way that it could be divided in between Roleplay as well as Gameplay articles. Roleplayers in the region has started to make pages for their nation and events and the government Authorities have started to make pages for documenting various important milestones in its history. With a new project launched, it's been heard that the region is also launching a new forum and stamp drives soon.

Roleplay: Nuclear Fallout and Extraterrestrials

The Indian regional roleplay happens in its on exclusive discord server that could be found after joining the main server. The RP consists of nations developing themselves, collaborating and also ends up with wars against eachother. Recently due to a war that could be termed as a world war, the whole of the earth went into a nuclear disaster. The epicenter of the disaster being Madagascar, radiation clouds and acid rains spread across the globe causing excessive damage to every nations especially those in the African continent. The Nuclear fallout saw a major population of people dying off and the rest getting hidden in bunkers. It also triggered the formation of Radioactive flesh eating locusts as well as monsters. The radiation slowly reduced and ended up killing a major amount of the monsters that were bred at the time. At the same time as the nations started to slowly recover from the radiation, the International Space Station received weird communication from the space. Identified as Extraterrestrials they landed up in the earth and took hold of majority of South Africa. The Extraterrestrials ended up attacking the nations as well as collaborating with a few.

FA Update

The Foreign Affairs Ministry got backed up with the recent bill of introducing bureaucracy. A lot of new users applied for being part of the diplomatic squad and they were send to each embassies that the region have. After a long tenure of diplomatic fallout the region showed signs of improvement at the recent times. The Prime Minister and the President approached various regions mainly those had embassies with the region in the past. The talks still go on and was receiving positive comments. The region gained a new embassy and also established two consulates.

Joint Statement on the Treaty of Gandwana

Today the governments of Africa and India are proud to announce the Treaty of Gondwana!

Gondwana, the supercontinent for which the treaty is named, was the last time India and Africa were joined in harmony as a single continent; the name of this treaty is symbolic of our two great regions moving closer together than ever before.
This treaty is comprehensive and all-encompassing, including enhanced cooperation on cultural affairs, military operations, and World Assembly legislation.

Throughout our decades on NationStates, both regions have had countless allies, but no alliance has stood the test of time better than the friendship between Africa and India. From the founding of the Assembly of Regions, to the coordination of our militaries during Operation: Rain Drop, and recent developments concerning reconstruction in Greater Africa, our relationship started off strong and has only grown steadily ever closer.

With this track record of success established, this treaty serves merely to formalize what is already self-evident: the unshakable bond of friendship and cooperation between India and Africa.

May this treaty be the first step in building a new era of peace and prosperity.

Statement on Operation Rudra

On Sunday June 3^rd at 10:17 AM EST Hindu Founder started Greater Hindu Empire's first and final Purgelympics with banning North Power, who was the most influential nation in the Greater Hindu Empire. The Purge ended by 10:20 AM EST, with the final and 12^th ejection of Kuru and Panchala and the founder closing the borders for nations to join. Finally marking the victory of the Indian Armed Forces and the Indian Intelligence Agency, the region's World Factbook Entry and Flag were changed.

This Operation was codenamed "Operation Rudra" and was started around two years ago just as the conflict between Greater Hindu Empire and India started. The Operation was a sequel to the original "Operation Chanakya" which had it's focus on the infiltration and taking over of the region of Genua, which was then a major fascist entity and foe of India. Operation Chanakya used to be spearheaded by Whole India, making them one of those people who contributed to this operation in a large scale. Genua was a major threat to the region after the joined hands with Greater Hindu Empire to take over India and establish the "rule of the rightful" or of "Ultra Hindu Nationalists" and overthrow the so called "Leftist Government". Operation Chanakya was abandoned after Numerous Currencies, founder of Genua was deleted with other nations in the Moderator's Nazi Purge and the region was left founderless to be later occupied by AntiFa. With the end of Numerous Currencies, the focus was turned into infiltrating Greater Hindu Empire who kept on creating issues for India. The Operation became more steady after GHE's founder Sattwikstan allegedly commited Voter Fraud and also raided regions under and allies of India. The Intelligence wing of India after careful consideration of the situation was able to infiltrate into GHE and finally get into the stage of acquiring the founder account and putting a full stop to Greater Hindu Empire.

This is a victory for the region of India and its citizens who worked hard for the succesful execution of Operation Rudra.
