If you hated anime so much, why did you not only choose to moderate it, choose to have anime pictures submitted to you so you could "vet" them, but also choose to exempt it from CCD's infamously enforced Rule 2? I mean, I know what Jocospor says goes in your region, and Jocospor stands by rule 2 on his Discord very much. Actually, I do understand this. In fact, I know why you used every excuse to delete the anime channel. Because your vetting process wasn't very good, Depackya. At least not by typical standards. And it wasn't very.. mature, either.

Oh, stop playing games. Even asking me for the screenshots in the first place was an act for the readers. I helped infiltrate you. I cheered on Riakou. I've spent most of this nation's forum activity in your threads. You know me and I know you. I would have to be post-lobotomy to give you my evidence and let you get to work on crafting a narrative. You are not good at many, many things in this game, but you and Jocospor are very good at manipulation. You don't need my help. Use your imagination for what's in the evidence and craft your propaganda around that.

I literally don't know what your problem is but I'd recommend cutting it back a bit, all that stress can't be good for your heart. The CCD isn't going anywhere.

To respond to the screenshots being circulated about the CCD Discord, a source provided a copy of these images to us

There's not really much to add beyond my original statement on a subset of these images:

To comment on this development, only 3/5 of those nations remain in the CCD; those that remain have been disciplined, and the offending channel was shut down a week ago.

However, I will say that the CCD has since permanently shut down the #irl-politics channel responsible for the vast majority of these infractions, and reformed our warn and ban system to more aggressively discipline those nations who consistently violate our rules:

5 warnings = 1 day temp-ban
10 warnings = 1 week temp-ban
15 warnings = indefinite ban

Nations may accumulate more than one warn at a time, depending on the severity of the offense.

Nations who have recieved an indefinite ban will remain banned from this server until they have sufficiently demonstrated a willingness to reform. Unbanning nations is at the discretion of the Imperial Council.

Serious, repeated infractions may result in a permanent ban from the CCD Discord server, and/or an ejection and ban from the Confederation.

What happened was a result of tactical voting, which was possible due to the fact that vote tallies were visible during the election. If you consider tactical voting to be 'vote rigging' then that's fine, but you also have to appreciate that that's a niche viewpoint which isn't shared by most people (citation needed). Tactical voting is a symptom of certain democratic systems and always has been.

Why did the Joco vote finish outside the top five? I think the idea that there's a site-wide conspiracy against a specific player/region to be very unlikely. The Joco campaign rubbed a lot of people the wrong way and voting system allowed them to do something about it. Shouting about conspiracies or elitism and promoting one specific candidate as the antidote doesn't necessarily make you popular.

Are there people with more power in the WA than others? Of course. Every organisation is like that. Does that mean certain viewpoints are smothered in favour of more popular ones? Sure. Does that mean there's a conspiracy?

At some point you just have to honestly ask yourself whether or not you're in the right.
