If CCD seriously believes this is just ‘drama’ that will blow over, it’s leadership is utterly delusional about the shit-storm it’s landed itself in.

And then to nonchalantly claim they knew about the fact that Chuck had this info months ago and did nothing with it makes them look even worse.

And as for why nobody here is condemning Chuck, it’s because Chuck at least has had the decency to own up and admit fault and take serious efforts to change. Neither Shrew or Joco have or will. They’ll keep blaming everyone else as their region rots and burns around them, but the fish always rots from the head.

No, we didn't just stop talking when the CCD discord server went quiet, we moved out the moment we stopped trusting you, so you couldn't feed intel to Chuck

I'll weigh in on this as well - no you weren't considered a friend. Jocospor once trusted you, as I did, and clearly this had to be worth something given your appointment to the Supreme Council. I'm somewhat disappointed that trust was misplaced, but again we've known for a while now.

The balls to beg for people to leave them alone.
The balls to make half-baked apologies, without sounding even a smidgen remorseful.
The balls to deflect accusations (with evidence!), then to turn it against the accusers, without presenting any proof themselves that they are innocent.

I wonder what's next, CCD's Supreme Council? Will you have the balls to admit defeat?

Guess the feelings were one-sided on my part. And yes, it was worth something. I was firmly loyal to the CCD cause for much longer than you think, you know. I may have been talking to Chuck back then, but I never started feeding him intel until just this January. That was how much I was willing to go for you all, and clearly, it was me who had my trust misplaced. But oh well, what goes around comes around!

In my opinion, this is the worst news that I’ve ever heard from the CCD (next to the doxxing and acceptance of OOC fascism, of course). To think that members who consider the region a family aren’t even considered friends by their founders.

If you don’t know how this is a defeat for CCD your learning on Gameplay needs a marked improvement. This is catastrophic for you, it may not end you overnight, but this sort of loss of trust is corrosive. I’ve seen it happen. More and more will leave, you’ll try to claim nothing is wrong, and everyone else will slowly leave you to stew in your own juices.

CCD’s had a couple of fatal body blows this week, make no mistake. Might take a while to bleed to death, but it’s just a matter of time.
