I've never cared about CCD being fascist. The only issue I've ever had with the region is that they aren't willing to earn the accolades they think they are entitled to. As far as I know, Augusto Pinochet's embassy with CCD was there before I took charge.

Regarding embassies: we continue to investigate our embassies on a case by case basis in the hope of ascertaining various truths.

I think an especially potent problem for regions like the CCD is how the line in the sand between IC and OOC becomes blurred. Left-wing regions don't experience this issue as much, and I'd say that's primarily due to the lack of connections to distinctly genocidal cult-like nations from the past. (Yes, I know that communism has brought suffering to 10s of millions at least, but it doesn't necessarily have horrors like racial superiority and associated genocides attached to it.)

My nation, "The Order", is a hyperzealous Catholic state resembling a caliphate. Yet IRL I'm a social liberal and fiscal conservative. The issue here is to find which nations are just "dictator-ing" because it's fun and they can, and which are actually IRL fascists. I don't think that total cession of relations with any and all regions that resemble right wing ideologies like fascism is reasonable, as many are just that because it's enjoyable to RP, and not to promote actual nazism. To punish those who are just there to enjoy this site just seems wrong to me.

I'd certainly look forward to discussion with the whole NS community to effectively determine which regions are for IRL fascists, and which are just for RP. I'd like to see the CCD, if not liked (because that's probably unrealistic at this point), at least respected by the international community, and I think that would be a good next step.
