Our region was founded on January 20, 2018, by the former player Gibraltarica, known as Vapid by some. He crafted the region's theme around the rule of Charlemagne, and so it has stuck. Originally intended to be a region focused on the world stage of NS gameplay, Vapid focused his initial efforts on creating a strong governmental infrastructure. By the time he had left, the region had all of the proper necessities for a functioning community in place. Carolingia, however, was full of brand new players who had no idea what gameplay was, nor did they have an understanding of the larger NS community. Konig Otto kept the region afloat after Vapid's sudden absence for a few months before handing over the reins to Bunny in August. Carolingia grew to become the outsider art of NationStates, a term coined by Vapid himself. Here is a region, founded and built by an experienced gameplayer, and handed to an isolated community of new players to run, and run it did. But as one would expect, this strange circumstance forged a countercultural NS community.

Carolingia did away with anything they did not find fun! This included the court system, legislation, the constitution, and elected positions! Instead, they dedicated their time to the roleplay, growing to 13 consistently active roleplayers from all over the world, meaning that the roleplay is almost always ongoing. Carolingia, while an absolute monarchy, acts more like a classless region, with Counts able to pick up and do any job they like and the workload being spread evenly. Nearly absent were notions of other regions' or players' reputations, an understanding of the past of gameplay, or even what a feeder was. Yet Carolingia created an active roleplay with DnD elements, a fully functioning appointed government, close alliances, and friends for life.

Our requirements for allies are simple: trust, transparency, and love. We in Carolingia are a tight-knit community, involved in each other's lives. We don't pick allies because they're powerful, we pick them because the people in their communities make us smile.

I mean, let's not forget that Bunny herself earned numerous bans for very questionable behavior, throughout the GP umbrella. If you couple that with what went down when Attero and Bunny were both involved in a certain incident, and this region seems like a potentially toxic train wreck waiting to happen. I'd be really apprehensive about giving any support to here, and am concerned that we're not giving it the same treatment as we give other regions which harbor numerous unpleasant types.

With the current leadership makeup of this region, this is not something anybody should be wishing well, congratulating, or offering any sort of plaudits to.

To the respectable folks in the region, just get out while you can if you can't get rid of what'll eventually poison your community.

In light of the offsite evidence so graciously presented by Altino, I would like to make my opinion known on this:
1. I do think Bunny has changed significantly since the events in the evidence. In my interactions with her, she has been far more pleasant and mature than she was before. However, that does not excuse her behavior in days past, or her knowledge of the dubious nature of her actions towards the individuals messaged, or her misrepresentation of those actions. I myself did not until recently know of the severity of these actions.
2. As a result, I think it would be proper if she were to resign from her post as Empress, leave Carolingia, and give the position to Lux Nutricii, aka Alucard. Bunny and I both know Carolingia deserves to be free from OOC drama, as stated in multiple conversations in the council chat. For the record for those who don't know Alucard, she is a selfless and upright person, and entirely unimplicated in any of this drama. If Alucard would like to contact me further for advice, I'll be keeping this nation's telegram box open.
3. Bunny should leave NationStates. I won't go into the details of our conversations, but it is detrimental to mental health, and I know she needs a break. Furthermore, it is only fair to the victims of these events that she is not around to cause disturbance in their lives. While I wish this could have resolved more seamlessly, it's not looking that way, and the situation is certainly not looking good if Bunny decides to stay.

Obviously, these are not demands, but advice. I have no control over the founder, discord, or any Regional Officers. This is the best possible ending. Any other ending will result in Carolingia's assault on all sides, and I will not be able to protect it, nor willing to.

I would like to make it clear that this is not a return. As I understand it, Carolingia's fate rests on making wrongs right, and that is very important to me. People of Carolingia: you read my address to you all, you know what I want you to do. Do what is right, though it cost you, and I will not let you fall. That is my promise. That includes you, Bunny. Good day, and God's blessings (we all know NSGP needs them).
