It'll be mildly interesting to see if the Pacific will regain its old rank, or if the West Pacific will successfully retain 4th place.

Nations come and go. When I joined at the tail-end of 2016, the Pacific was in second place for most nations. It doesn't bother me about our mechanical ranking, but I would be very interested to see if TNP lost its first place one day.

Unless someone can replicate some of TNP's success in a similarly major way, that seems fairly unlikely.

TNP would need to suffer some severe instability - probably a coup - and TG recruitment would suddenly have to be effective again, which without a severe handicapping of the current system isn't going to happen.

Good morning, Pacificans!
We are starting up a new cultural event! As you've noticed, we have a new Emperor. We could have simply asked you to endorse him, but we decided we could spice it up for the fun of it. Currently we have quite a few people not yet endorsing East Durthang. The objective of this event is related to the card game event. If you can persuade other players to endorse East Durthang who have yet to do so, or contact a certain number of Pacificans (they must be in the WA for the contact to count to your total), you qualify to win a card of your choice in special Pacifican packs that we have collected for this game. The person who fulfills all of the requirements in this game will win a full pack of their choice.
You do not have to be in the World Assembly yourself to play, but you do have to contact nations in the World Assembly or persuade them to endorse the Emperor. You may choose a card from the pack from which you wish to obtain a card.
Available cards:
Contact For Endorsements:
Current Pacificans (Common) - contact 10 players to endorse East Durthang (East Durthang and CaveDweller are excluded from this category).
Current Pacificans (Uncommon to Ultra Rare) - contact 15 players to endorse East Durthang.
Current Pacificans (Epic) - contact 20 players to endorse East Durthang.
Current Senators (Uncommon) - contact 25 players to endorse East Durthang. [Cards included: Japanese Schoolgirls, Elegarth]
Current Senators (Rare) - contact 40 players to endorse East Durthang. [Cards included: Xoriet]
Current Senators (Epic) - contact 50 players to endorse East Durthang. [Cards included: Shnailand]
Current Governors (All Values) - contact 60 players to endorse East Durthang. [Cards included: Samasbhi, CaveDweller, Glealian]
Past Senators (Uncommon to Ultra Rare) - contact 70 players to endorse East Durthang. [Cards included: BlackAdder goes Forth, Darkesia, Laws and Bylaws]
Past Senators (Epic) - contact 120 players to endorse East Durthang. [Cards included: Pergamon (presently one extra copy available)]
Emperors (All Values) - contact 150 people to endorse East Durthang. [Cards included: East Durthang, Aleisyr, Pierconium, Krulltopia]
Endorsements Obtained:
Past Senators (Ultra Rare) - persuade 5 people to endorse East Durthang. [Cards included: Laws and Bylaws]
Pacifican Residents (Legendary) - persuade 8 people to endorse East Durthang. [Cards included: The Free Joy State]
Past Senators (Epic) - persuade 15 people to endorse East Durthang. [Cards included: Pergamon (presently one extra copy available)]
Emperors (All Values) - persuade 17 people to endorse East Durthang. [Cards included: East Durthang, Aleisyr, Pierconium, Krulltopia]
All you need to do to qualify is prove that you have contacted or convinced a certain number of people endorse East Durthang. This can be done by screenshotting your total number of Telegrams sent for this event, linking nations and copying Telegrams that they sent to you confirming that you persuaded them to endorse East Durthang, or copying and pasting the sent messages or replies to me or another Senator in Telegrams or through Discord direct messages.
If you have questions, please feel free to ask.
Contact any of the Praetorian Guard or the Senators if you wish to participate and need a list of names of Pacificans who are not endorsing the Emperor. We will be happy to provide names.
Good luck, and have fun!
~ Xoriet
PS: If we do not have the card of your choice available at the time of request, we can obtain it.

Alkasia wrote:So The Pacific's plan to get their WA nations to endorse ED is to annoy and spam them with telegrams from a bunch of other people who just want cards? There's ~250 WA nations not endorsing East Durthang and to even make this worth it each person participating would have to contact 20-40 nations, if not more. I'm sure that'll go swimmingly.

For that purpose, if the tgs from strangers annoying them are that bad, what will the APC do now with their "war"?
TBH, if this is what concerns you all now, it means you are out of fuel in your pointless crusade?

So, since it has never actually happened, I must think this is NOT an official position of the APC, since they have NEVER officially spoken to us?

The Pacific is just fine to have those that wish to swap endorsements to high levels stay in TNP. We have no wish to emulate their practice in this regard.

Yes? Because why would the APC collectively bother to have an official position on your silly, spammy, and likely to fail tarting plans?
If the APC has an official position on something, the Organizers will collectively release a statement. This is not a hard concept to follow.

I know you aren't one and I know who a few of them supposedly are, but as they have never released an official statement it seems like maybe it isn't an actual thing. How can something called the Anti-Pacific Coalition not have any official positions?
