Certainly not someone like you who has joined the occupying forces that are subjecating the nations of The Pacific.

The defenders of Sonindia have a noble cause, and I hope they find success.

I wouldn't say he has really joined them, though he may feel that he has. The NPO is a very closed off, elite group of players, and someone with his kind of morals would pose a threat to their operational security. It is a fact that corruption within business and government is most often exposed by people with a good sense of moral loyalty. I don't think he or the majority of the natives of the Pacific would support their imperialist actions if they were outside the Pacific, and I think many of those who vocally support the NPO now would withdraw their support due to their conscience if they knew everything that happens behind closed doors.

Alright, I concede that there is a portion of Pacific natives that like the NPO. The problem is, these natives are supporting a government that has tried to forcibly instate whatever government it sees fit on the natives of other regions. It would be nice if the NPO would course-correct on its own and stop doing that, but since there is no accountability within the NPO, and since we gave the NPO a second chance, and they did it again - sorry, we are going to have to come in and force the NPO to disarm.

P.S. What are you doing here? I thought you were loyal to the NPO. According to this dispatch, posted by your government, the Gameplay forum is off-limits for you, unless you have permission from the Senate.

Hello. Anyone in the NPO, or on the Discord server can attest to the fact that I, on principle alone, dislike and don't endorse espionage/interference in other regions. While I can understand why you want to, as you say, "force the NPO to disarm"; we are as much an ideology as a political entity. Using force on ideologies doesn't work well, but please, be my guest.

Perhaps we agree on more than it seems. There is a good side to Francoism that I support, actually. My main gripe is that the NPO doesn't really follow it, and appears to use it as justification for the interference and espionage you and I are against.

Part of the problem is that those of us who have been around awhile saw this exact thing happpen several years ago. Krulltopia stepped down from his seat as Emperor, Pergamon took his place, and did exactly what East Durthag/LoD is doing. We gave the NPO a second chance, and we have just discovered they went back on it - they tried to take over my current region, Lazarus. I trust that you are being genuine because you aren't the same group of people who did that, but you don't represent the NPO, you represent the average Pacifican. The reason we cannot believe claims that the NPO is going to make real changes is that we don't want history to repeat itself - hence the uproar and call to arms against the NPO.

Pergamon didn’t take over for Krull? That said, I understand what you’re saying. I'm not really here to convince you that you should take what we say at face-value, that's stupid for anyone. Perhaps it's because I've known LoD on and off for a significant period of time, but I sincerely believe that he can make real, tangible changes that won't be over-turned or over-ruled by his successor. It's fine if you don't believe us, I don't expect you to. We'll keep on trying to right ourselves when we stumble, something that should happen irrespective of who believes us and doesn't.

I give respect where it is due. Civility is one of the mediums through which respect can be conveyed. Galiantus was polite, it's only natural that I reciprocate. As for "deceiving" others: you are entitled to your opinion, but I'm not here to convince anyone of anything. I just say things how I see them.
