I found/joined NationStaes on New Years, actually
Granted I was still in high school so I definitely wasn’t out getting wasted >.> (note: this was years ago)
Actually, I check Discord on New Years too (2018) and see people getting drunk, it’s funny and worth it XD
Many people are below legal drinking age in their area (including I, and including some of you fools telling people to go out and get wasted, including a bunch of the player base)
So don’t judge what people do in their spare time.
So Cormac is right. No matter the circumstance, don’t judge someone for “having no life” when it’s harmless.
@Lalop considering the first region I joined was an ex raider region, probably I did raid during New Years, even if I didn’t, a ton of friends did. Let peeps have fun
Anyway, good luck OP! Don’t feel obligated, don’t worry if you drop out of this OP, no one would blame you, but if you don’t, just have fun. In fact, odds are this is the best chance of success for you. NPO’s Border Control Officers and Delegate are likely offline because of New Years so you can hit them while they’re absent >: )

Are you trying to gather their forces in the Pacific or spread them out so that they anticipate invasions of regions they'd want to hold on to?

That's actually a good point - if St. Abby is still under NPO control at the end of December, we could liberate the region from them this way.

Are you planning to participate in the jump? The conditions for entry seem rather explicit on that point

Update:
We have a healthy ~60 people on Discord getting hyped for the New Year's event, and we have formed a loose organisation we are calling the Pacific Reformation Coalition (PRC). There is an enormous amount of cross-over between us and the Anti-Pacific Coalition, but the PRC is attracting more people outside Gameplay and helping them feel like a part of the war effort, while the APC is mainly focusing on the long-term aspects of the war.

We will be holding a training session for inexperienced players to get an idea what the event will look like. Orders for the training session can be found in this dispatch. All are invited to participate!
