September of 2017, the Great Contradiction would occur. A great rift in the very fabric of NationStates had begun to appear. Within days, the energy from the rift would coalesce into A GCR Founder. Mere minutes after that energy exploded, and on the 15th of the month, A GCR appeared. From the collective thoughts of all in the Eternal Contradiction, the one true GCR in NS would establish itself. The Great Contradiction, the great energy which we draw ourselves from, manifests itself in all of us. It exists in our collective thoughts, our spirits, and in our actions. In its avatar, A GCR Founder we found our leader. Anointed by Max himself, A GCR Founder was graced with the power to establish a region that could take the name of A GCR and run with it to no end. So with a spark of determination, a horrible, long running joke, and a year of blatant and deliberate inactivity, A GCR Founder set out and pushed forward a region with grand ideas and ambitions of being the greatest GCR.

Hail Comrades!

A day has finally come when those who look down upon us from their lofty Endo counts and cheesy nation names have looked down and attempted to degrade our people. Once again the NPO has shown it's disdain for its fellow GCRs, dispatching it's agents in an attempt to subvert, influence, and ultimately take control of its neighbors. I for one, am deathly afraid of just how many alt accounts for NPO agents, or other subversives that lay in our midst. Like how Adytus was in fact Feux, or the most dastardly discovery of the last few days, that Tubbius was in fact Treadwellia, Vice-delegate of Lazarus. A truly shocking revelation. Who knows what could be next? Cormactopia could be Cormactopia Prime? Perhaps even this nation is a puppet! Who can say?

For a government that claims it stands for regional sovereignty from outside influences, the NPO's actions come off as both hypocritical, stupid and hilarious. They fabricate this great Boogeyman of the userite subversive, and then proceeded to do exactly as these supposed userites would do. Those who would infiltrate and subvert governments have no place in the greater political sphere of NS. They filled up their espionage slots and didn’t even bother to follow up, which is downright rude. And now they’re claiming those opposed to them declared war with no intention of attacking, which is a blatant violation of….. Oh wait… sorry, wrong game!

But why do we choose now? We do not band together simply because we are all in the GCR or UCR spheres, like some other petty alliances! We do not ally because all of our nations happened to come together at an opportune time! We ally because we believe! We believe in defeating Francoism!

As NationStates’ premier GCR, we cannot allow these actions to go unpunished. As of this moment, A GCR must war on another, and with my authority as Chief Tatercrat, on behalf of the Great Contradiction themselves, I authorize War on the NPO. We hope our fellow GCRs follow suit, and depose this dangerous regime.

May the Great Contradiction save us all.
