Yes, you did indeed "frixed mosr" of it. Now try fixing it, as your spelling and grammar are still awful. Once you run it through a spell checker and grammar checker, we can start talking about style and substance.

umm... thanks.

Kalsparata, first off... use spellcheck. Seriously. The frequency of the misspellings make wanting to read it nearly mindbogglingly tedious. That is the biggest complaint. Also, "bumping" a factbook is rather pointless. You have a good bit of info, but some graphic illustrations also help. And when you use them, make them pertinent to what you are illustrating. Myself, I tend to go a bit graphic heavy, as that is what I enjoy doing. Its not for everybody, but I find it a hoot.

Whatever. Make spellcheck your first priority. FIRST priority. That cannot be emphasized enough. S-P-E-L-L-C-H-E-C-K. Mark that down.

Clearly you did either 1) did nothing of the sort, 2) you didn't make the changes it suggested, or 3) ran it through a spell checker that accepts "desrt" and and "recto scale" as well as through a grammar checker that allows for randomized capitalization.

You may have run through it several times yourself, but you clearly have ignored the repeated advice to run it through a spell checker, as seen by the blatant errors you have missed.

Kalasparata wrote:Introduction
The Democratic Republic of Kalasparata is a Central, liberal Nation where everything is Centralised into Ipsola Central District (ICD) which is the CBD of our biggest city (size & population) which is also our capital city, Ipsola, our currency is the kalaspi. We hope you enjoy reading about the great free land we call Kalasparata!
[Geography]Imagine a great desrt, spreading over thousands of kilometers, an extremely minor fault line (with tiny volcanos that only relase a liter of lava and the biggest earthquakes are 1-2 on the recto scale and tsunamis are only 1 meter high), really, really tall mountains and really, really deep cliffs which spread past the nations boarders, grass lands great enough to feed 3 million sheep, the grand waters of the pacific ocean, bush, forests and woods bigger than you can ever know, snow in the tropics, the international date line, the equator, cyclones, a desert as large as Europe, a beach so sandy that it goes km past anyones imagination, sunshine, summer and winter at the same time with-in the one km, elevations, sea, desert and snow breezes all meeting together, extremely fertile land, natural beauty. Now imagine it all meeting together in a 3 sq km location. That's Ipsola Central District for you!

The rest of Kalasparata has all these things but not centralised. The greatest number of the following a 8 sq km land (other than ICD) has is 5! Our greatest earthquake was a 2 on the rycta scale thanks to our extremely tiny fault line! The rest of Kalasparta sits on a plate.

And those are just the spelling and capitalization errors I eyeballed in the first two paragraphs...

Quit eyeballing it and run it through a spell checker.

Kala, I'd suggest you start making a wiki page to build a factbook. That way you'd also have no problems uploading images and making easy edits. And if you need any help with it, there are plenty of knowledgeable people around to help fix any errors.

Being a grammar nazi is when you bug people about "who" and "whom," or nominative and objective case.

He wasn't being a grammar nazi for noting words that have been mispelled to great lengths.

Not at all - I was simply trying to help Kalasparata communicate clearly, something that continues to cause him trouble. But, if you think so, please report it. The OP didn't think so, nor did I.

Comments about a factbook can go in the factbook thread itself.
