Foreign Dignitaries, Citizens of Kaiserreich, Esteemed Representatives of the NS World and Nobility
This post is intended to serve as a message of truth and reconcillation, which will hopefully make us admit our past mistakes and come to terms with other respectable regions of the NS World.
Firstly and foremostly, we have to come to terms with the sympathies, comments and views of several old members of the region, all of whom have left. As much as I respect these men on a personal level, it is an undeniable fact that while they were not fascists, they were apologists for it. For we must come to terms with it, that our region had been run by fascist sympathisers for a long period. Sympathy towards fascism is as dangerous as fascism itself.
Secondly, it must be acknowledged that citizens were routinely abused by those in power until their emancipation by the new Constitution and the Kaiser's personal intervention. I, on the behalf of the government, extend my personal apology to Erickt, Galskia and Risen Prussia. The abuse directed towards you, some of it sadly by me or my officers, will not be repeated.
Thirdly, while the Kaiser's seat is unquestionable the problems of the old autocratic system must be admitted. Until the approval of the new Codex, citizens had no way of representing themselves or their views in the Reichstag, which was almost achieved earlier with the failed county system. For censorship was running high by the likes of Scheinenland with his immense ego, and Apostate with a failed religious inquisition.
Last but not least, it is important to look ahead to the future and not dwell in past mistakes. The Empire has learnt from its past, and it is prepared for the future. Rule of law as well as democracy has been established, and we are ready to thrive in a new age among the democratic and equal regions of NationStates. Let this new era for Kaiserreich be one of progress and friendship with others.

How come I don't believe you have cleared out your trash yet? Not only did you allow people to make that kind of comments, you even let them make those comments in your channels, without any intervention. What was said in those logs should have had immediate consequences: ban, apology to the rest of NS and those hurt, stricter rules etc. Not "they're just jokes leave us be". I will only believe KR has changed when every officer that was there has left, which includes your founder, who didn't act on it immediatley as he should have.

You guys should have seen degeneracy and dealt with the earlier. The fact that a majority of the NS community viewed you as fascists should have tipped you off that maybe some of your members were of the questionable variety. The leadership of KR should have dealt with the problem swiftly so that it didn’t accumulate into the mess it is today. And as Armaros said, the only way I’ll truly look at KR in a different and positive light so when the former administration (including founder) resigns and leaves the region.

I’m willing to give KREICH a chance, but it’ll be a while. An apology, and admitting that problems occurred, is a good first step. I hope that, in time, KREICH proves that it really has cleaned itself up. I would very much like to see that.

We did not have them. The new Imperial Codex and Civil Code includes them, namely banning fascism as a non-Imperial ideology as well as checks and balances on power.

If you're truly trying to change you ban them. The things they said are unacceptable. Every sensible region would have banned them already. The fact you allow them to remain in the region says quite a lot about your "change".

If you're truly trying to change you ban them. The things they said are unacceptable. Every sensible region would have banned them already. The fact you allow them to remain in the region says quite a lot about your "change".

The new Civil Code goes into effect after our fresh elections, which are scheduled for November 10th. If they continue to support the said ideologies afterwards, they shall be penalized accordingly.

I think purging all the Nazis from your region/discord would be a good first step. Even if not to regain your reputation (which, I don't think you'll ever regain,) it does clean up the chat for your community's sake.

I suppose revoking the citizenship of the sympathisers, writing a new democratic constitution and calling in general elections isn't action. It is my request that the NS World gets over its prejudices regarding KAISERREICH, as hard as it can be.
