To be fair, a lot of regions put a lot of weight in n-day, so questions regarding it aren't thrivelous.
I'm sure I speak for quite a few regions when I say that our success in n-day depends heavily on if certain members with a lot of puppets and free time are able to participate. I held a quarter of the nukes and 1/5 of the shields, across my various accounts, for the UDS coalition in n-day II, and whoever Enadia ends up working with this time would likely be very interested to know whether I'm going to be able to spend 24 hours flat out on this again. I doubt I'm the only person who supplied a very large percentage of an organisations forces: Atlas, I know for certain relied heavily on Acronius' contribution in both of the recent editions.
Some information on the likely timing, or even whether it is likely to go ahead at all, would greatly assist regions in determining whether other regions are potential good partners this time around, would allow individuals to call in favours from less active members of their community and would give people an idea of their likely strength on the particular day.

I actually think we'd get less participation. People wouldn't have any time to organise the large factions we saw for the last n-day, and things would be very centred around regional communities.

This lol. I accounted for 51% of my faction's score last time. I would've been 15th in strikes as a standalone faction. I didn't sleep. I've got a case of red bull I've been stocking and I've been carefully planning and preparing for this, so I feel like questions are more than reasonable.

Well, here's the answer you don't want to hear. Questions are pointless, as there is no one around who knows the answers. We mods have no idea if and when N-Day will be revived. As has been explained elsewhere (multiple times), primary site admin [violet] hasn't been around much lately. It's her baby. If she launches it, it will be a surprise to players and mods alike.

Well idk if it will happen. NDay seems to be a 2017 exclusive . So if anyone made their nation after that... I'm sorry but you'll never get to experience this amazing event.
