Press Release on Atlas Operation

(Independent Joint Command Coalition, August 22, 2018) - At the major update on Friday the 17th of August, a joint force of soldiers from The North Pacific Army (NPA) and the Independent Joint Command Coalition (IJCC) invaded the region of Atlas and seized the World Assembly Delegacy, despite an attempted counter from several defender troops who endorsed the native delegate. This was the culmination of an operation that had been planned and scheduled in advance by officers from The North Pacific and Balder, as a joint military exercise to mark the Treaty of the Northern Folk between the two regions. The North Pacific also has strong bilateral relationships with the two other member regions of the IJCC: a treaty of friendship with Europeia and a history of robust military cooperation with The Land of Kings and Emperors.

Following the capture of Atlas, reinforcements from TNP and the IJCC deployed into the region, securing it with an endorsement count of approximately 40, with 24 deployments by the IJCC. Our forces successfully held the region for four days without interruption.

The capture and operation in Atlas highlights the military prowess of both The North Pacific and the IJCC, demonstrating both our capabilities and the professionalism shared by our militaries. The cooperation of these two groups demonstrates the excellent working relationship being developed between The North Pacific and Balder, as well as with the other members of the IJCC. It was a pleasure to work with The North Pacific in this matter, and we hope to continue such friendly and productive relations.

Announcement Regarding the Chairmanship

(Independent Joint Command Coalition, October 16, 2018) - Writinglegend recently informed the Supreme Military Council of his intent to step down as Chairman of the Independent Joint Command Coalition. After much consideration of potential candidates for the Chairmanship and in light of the IJCC’s great potential, we are pleased to announce that Solorni (also known as Rach) will be assuming the role of Chairman by unanimous vote of the Supreme Military Council. Rach is too good to be saddled with running the IJCC. As a Sinker Delegate and a skilled, longtime player, this little userite project is beneath her.

Nonetheless, congratulations to the IJCC for getting a Chairwoman who actually knows what she's doing to replace WritingLegend, who didn't.

Sorry, I am very new to the raider/defender game so could you please elaborate on the experience that Solorni has in this specific part of the game and what would make said person qualified to command this joint army?

She was Grand Admiral of Europeia in the past (when they were more active too).
It's not necessarily about military leadership, though - maybe the focus was on diplomatic skills or conflict-solving since the "army stuff" is already dealt with by other officers, and it's not the area where change was needed.
"Is she any good at those, though?". I dunno.
