It's actually sad to see this play out. Layem had every chance to change. People warned them so many times about the path ahead. Yet they chose to go down this path.

The region is now having to deal with other regions trying to be the next Rome I mean Sanctum. People are starting to see through the lies Sanctum and its leaders have made.

Perhaps the people of Layem will have a similar vision.

As some of you may have noticed, our brief embassy with Confederacy of Layem draws to a close. This was purposeful; there are several reasons this was put into motion. While we have absolutely no love for the NSGP member regions, we received many admonitions and warnings about the Chief Minister of the region, the nation Mauroa. I personally experienced the unprofessional and inappropriate server life that is commonplace in Layem. Suffice it to say I would be breaking site rules should I disclose what I saw and experienced in that region.

Those that know me, know that despite my complete disregard for the invented code of conduct that is pervasive across the website, that there are certain bridges even I will not cross. Layem region has no objections to crossing those lines and its something that caused us to eject their founder from our servers, leading to the resulting closure of embassies.

From my perspective, I think the big difference is that Layem had many members that were GP-savvy and active in trolling GPers, while Genua was much more outwardly fascist and ideologically dangerous but not nearly as involved in Gameplay. I'm much happier that Genua is gone, but it's more theatric that Layem is gone. But that's just me!
