Minor mistake from the TCT. I did not "betray" the CCD. I was never a member of the region nor did I ever have a WA nation within the region. As such, I simply request that in the future, a little more editing is done.

That's OK. For info, for over two years now, every time I get an embassy request, I send a telegram to the requester, explaining what the relationship will be. This was the TG sent to Frattastan IV when they requested an embassy with The NewsStand on 7 October 2018:

Hi,

Congratulations on becoming delegate!

Thanks for the embassy! It's great to have your support.

Every week or two, we'll post a link on your RMB, letting you know which newspapers have been updated.

You are able to advertise any polls and events you hold on our RMB. The rules for RMB posting (advertising) are linked from our WFE. Any questions, just ask.

And don't forget to up-vote The NewsStand! It's your one-off all-time payment for access to our services!

I want to add that in another article in the Crazybloxian Times, they incorrectly (and bordering on slanderous) stated that the Pacific is not one of the Civil Defence Siren regions and accused them of espousing Francoism as an extension of fascism, when they have in fact been strongly anti-fascist and run one of the most active anti-fascist militaries. I hope you would remove TCT from your NewsStand for unprofessional reporting.

Oh, did he? Lol, I didn't read that. Yes, we abolished Francoism over a year ago, and it was never fascist in the first place. The original concept was based on the Communist Manifesto anyway. We are a signatory of the CDS. And we do indeed have a military that works almost exclusively to stamp out fascist regions. General ignorance about it is pretty expected at this point, given the past. We also have no problems with any of the other Pacifics. The only thing I remember about this Craxybloxian guy is that he always seems to go rogue on N-Day and causes headaches.

Yes, it is even better. I’m really not sure why people think we’d devote a year to pretending to abolish something when we’re in the middle of trying to establish a better NPO with far less issues. It rather undoes everything we’ve been working on for the last year to say one thing and then take it back the second it looks like we could get away with it. That would completely waste any credibility we have at the moment and shoot everything else we’ve devoted time to working on down. We have some citizens who are cosmopolitan who could have told any of their main regions or other friends quite clearly that Francoism has been a thing all along if we’d told you all one thing and kept it going internally. Since that hasn’t happened, there’s far more proof that it was abolished than that we are still using it.

I get the whole needing to see changes long term to believe it, and that's something we're working on as well, but what he's saying - that we still practice it and just lie about it to all of you for PR - is a matter of basic common sense and a general insult to intelligence. Who in their right mind would think that it was a good idea to practice something internally and say it's not true to everyone else when they have cosmopolitan citizens who could out it at any second?

The argument that people usually make is that it will probably come back as soon as the current administration is gone just like happened with Ivan, not that we're dumb enough to secretly keep practicing something after publicly abolishing it and trust that it can never possibly be exposed.
