SO I radically altered the design of my flag from earlier, decided to just simplify it. For the experts out there - any recommendations on how/what to improve with the overall look of this new flag design? I was trying to emphasize "eight" as in the "Oct" in my name with several eight-pointed stars. Are the symbols too big? Are the colors too bold/cliche?

It's a bit unusual to have a "hollow" star in a flag, but not that crazy. I generally value simplicity in flags, so personally, I'd go with a simple, centered, and solid-colored 8-pointed star. Therefore a centered red star on a gold background. Usually, I'd also want a reasonable about of room surrounding any iconic symbol in a flag, so I'd add a bit more space on the top and bottom by reducing the aspect ratio of the flag (make it less wide) so the star itself isn't reduced in its relative size too much.

It actually seems like a pretty good design that keeps the simplistic nature of realistic flags and is also unique and unlike any real national flags.

There is another notable shape associated with "eight," an octagram and cross in which 3 sides edges cross on each side to form eight "points," (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Star ... B1elve.svg) so kind of variation of an auseklis symbol (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Auseklis). However, it is somewhat associated with and can be considered a Fascist symbol due to it's associated with the Axis-aligned regime in Romania during World War II (https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File ... 1-1944.svg). However, it isn't really widely known, so most people wouldn't notice.

Hey, I'm just kinda hoping to get a more updated flag of my current design, if you can find a way to add gold to the flag that would be cool.

Also are we able to alter many aspects of the emblem parts? Like instead of the star with black sun and imperial sun, it instead looks like a shooting star crashing into the waves, with lines streaking off it like the original had, also these lines should have pieces coming off similar to parts from the black sun. On the Shooting Star can it have a nuclear symbol and ontop more modern item symbols for the icons (ie; drill for the pick, buzzsaw for the axe, adjustable wrench for crowbar, etc)

Mostly I'd just appreciate a more modern/futuristic look for the flag, and a gold design would be cool, it would also be cool that the flag represented a fusion of Market Socialism, Libertarian Marxism, Mao×stalin×hoxha×strasser×nazbol**, and post leftism

Hello everyone!

I was hoping to get a flag made with an upside down cross (saint peters cross) and a serpent intertwined. Its for kind of like a nation-wide Salem of the 1600s that became modernised (still believes in christian occultism, such as werewolves, witches, etc.) I was inspired by a necklace of the Serpents cross - specifically, one that looks like this

. I was hoping kind of if we could get something similar to the first picture, except upside down, and with the snakes head at the top of the upside down cross (flip the cross, keep the snake orientation). Ideally, the cross and snake would be in red and white, with a navy blue background. Thanks very much.

I appreciate the feedback! I'll take the solid star and increased spacing into consideration. I specifically want something that's a bit different and not too similar to other existing flags. As far as the auseklis, my old design incorporated something like it, but I didn't realize it was associated with the Iron Guard. That being said, I want to stay as FAR away from that as possible.
