I apologize for the lack of marketing so far, but as we get closer to the Con I intend to reach out more.

This year UCR Con will be held February 12-15, 2022, and will include, lectures, panels, spam games, and a place where you can send a dear friend a valentines card! We are still looking for more regions, as well as anyone who would like to give a lecture or sit on a panel. Panels include:

Hello all, Ayu here! Just another update about UCR Con! It's only ONE WEEK AWAY!

What is UCR Con?

UCR Con stands for User Created Region Convention, and is a place where user created regions from all over NationStates can get together and chat and mingle, network and make lasting friendships. The last 3 UCR Cons have been massive successes and a great way to network, and we hope to see that again this year at UCR Con 4!

Our new government system has been implemented and some changes made both on discord and the forums, so around CS you'll notice some role as well as structure changes. I'd like to go over what you might notice:

ON GOVERNMENT

Our constitution has been replaced. You can find our new governing document here in the dispatch 'The Formal Charter of the Workings of Caer Sidi: https://www.nationstates.net/page=dispatch/id=1674445

Citizens are now Courtiers. This is a simple vanity change, nothing about citizenship changes.

Executive government now consists of three positions, Master of the Hearth (Culture), Master of Whispers (FA), and Master of Scribes (Comms). Tenurium (Kresh Nagar) has graciously accepted the position of Master of Scribes and will continue monthly work on our issues of CSBS. The Master positions of Hearth and Whispers are to be filled and currently headed by the Monarchy until at which time we can find someone to take over each position. If you are a citizen and interested in being appointed to one of the open Master positions, please contact either myself or Carrot (Tirodayn).

The legislative branch has been downsized and moved to a petitioning system. House Baile and Roayl are officially archived, and the Oireachtas serves as a discussion forum for legislative ideas. The Orator position has been changed to an archivist position instead of a leadership position over the legislative branch. Courtiers may petition the throne for legislative changes, provided they have community support. ON ROLEPLAY

We have a new Oracle, Granger (Anrganomefnis Diatefnechiig)! I look forward to working with Granger to revitalize our role play and get things moving again. We'll be working on bringing our role play up to speed post haste.

ON CLANS

Clans have had a storied history in CS. Entrenched in our vast lore, Courtiers can choose to join either Clan Summer or Winter. However, for quite some time the clans have been underutilized, and there is ongoing discussion about what to do with them.
