The Envision Song Contest often simply called Envision, is an international song competition held primarily among the member countries of the Enadian Broadcasting Union. Each participating country submits an entry song to be performed on live television and radio, then casts votes for the other countries' songs to determine the winner.
The next Envision Song Contest will be held in the winners home nation.

Rules & Requirements for EUers:

- Nations that wish to participate should be members of the Enadian Union.
- Each nation should submit a song that does not exceed four (4) minutes length.
- The songs should be representing the nation and it's musical culture.
- Excessive language (Inflammatory language) should not be present in the song lyrics (This includes, racial, sexual, offensive language).
- Each Participating Broadcaster is free to decide the language in which its Contestant(s) will sing.
- Each participant/singer should at least be of the age of 16+.

Voting:

• 12 points shall be allocated to the song having obtained the best rank.
• 10 points to the song having obtained the second-best rank.
• 8 points to the song having obtained the third-best rank.

We will never as good as the Raiders. That event was amazing!

To drive excitement, should aim for differentiation, not market saturation *Especially* a newcomer, you need to demonstrate what makes you different, not just put a minor twist/restriction on an existing thing.

That isn't to say anyone has a copyright on "eurovision inspired song contest," but rather - FRAVision/Raidervision has been a regional song contest running for ages, and is all kinda of player-made music. Much of it is about NS, but it's not all about GP, and some of it is not about NS at all. TRR runs RejectVision which is just nations submitting existing songs they like to compete. You're not on the worst track with "sing about your nation" as a differentiator, but you should aim the bleed the event format away as well. you'll also need to market extensively far beyond this forum section to drum up interest in said specific topic. It's not impossible, but I'd nix the regional take, and focus more on the submissions of individual nations. You're unlikely to get many regional "runoffs," and you'll want the greater mass of entries in your event. That will also help set your format a little further apart. The age restriction is little silly given you only need to be 13 to be on the forums, and you also might want to consider, in general, allowing written entries/lyrics (to be judged as is, but let them be judged as is). This will also expand your pool of entrants, which is good in general to have a healthy event. Market in areas of NationRP moreso than here.

Hello,

Recently I was made aware of an unmarked recruitment telegram sent from a nation residing in Enadia, to several regions (some of whom we enjoy good ties with.) This telegram was in no way authorised, endorsed or created with the permission of the Enadian government and the nation which sent it has now been removed from the region.
Around the same time, the same nation sent Enadia a defamatory recruitment telegram for a small region, Katoteros, created by some former members of Enadia.
The fact that this nation sent recruitment Enadia recruitment messages from Katoteros, as well as sending other regions recruitment messages from Enadia leads me to believe that the telegrams originated from Katoteros.

The Enadian government would like to sincerely extend its appologies for any nation that leaves a region targeted by this recruitment campaign and joins Enadia, and we hope that this message serves to assure our allies that we were not the ones targeting them. Today the Enadian Union is reaching a new milestone and launches its official website Enadia Plus (+) . This website aims to provide a wide events map, a brochure, which is a little bit about culture, events, social gatherings and yeah some Enadian news distributed worldwide.

The website also hosts EU's International Embassy, an agency which aims to provide support and help to Interregional Partners, Interested groups and organizations as well as regions seeking help.

In recent times I have noticed that the use of Social Media in NationStates has significantly increased. Regions use them to express their political, cultural and community stances. Additionally regions use their social media for announcements and sharing the news.

I'm interested in DnD but nah, I'm just an avid reader of ASoIF and fan of the LoTR movies. Its just my years of experience with rp on NS that helps me know what to do with a thread.

Oh dude, you should seriously try DnD, it would be perfect for you. The quality of work you put for your roleplays would be perfect for DnD sessions. I am also a LoTR fan here. It goes without saying that I disliked The Hobbit franchise a lot.
