E.U.|SummerFest2018

Yes, this is on short notice, but I spontaneously came up with this idea (and, surprisingly for me, a decent banner) and decided to make it a month-long event open to everyone.
This year will be Enadia’s first time hosting an inter-regional culture exhibition. E.U.|SummerFest2018 will be an opportunity for Enadian citizens and foreign allies to submit their own artworks, music, short-films, photography, and even graphic design (flags, banners, etc.)...anything cultural that is that NS player’s creation. The Minister of Culture believes this is the perfect opportunity for Enadians at home and allies abroad to come together after all that has happened in the first half of 2018 and the whole of Enadia’s maiden year.
The submissions should be given on the Cultural Server under the category “Anthetal City Stage”. (Just tell the security your credentials and that you’re there for the festival.) Participants and observers are encouraged to stay in the server during the month of June leading up to July 4th to track and see other participants submissions as the channel, if this succeeds, will basically become a living museum. There will also be movies in our E.U. cinema and, at some point, the unveiling of our new radio station. Speaking of which...

The Ministry of Culture is currently in the process of planning a radio station which will be available to Enadians and foreign visitors. Rabbit is the current platform for our Cinema which I'm thinking of using for the radio station by streaming Spotify; but since I am a bit inexperienced with making something like this, as most people may be, if you have any suggestions on what you think has worked for you, please telegram me. Or look me up on Discord; I'm the eagle with the very colorful flag in the background. I am also looking to collaborate with other culture ministers or equivalents from A.I.R. regions at a later date to eventually make this an alliance-wide project!

Artist of the Week and Word of the Day
The Minister of Culture welcomes everyone to his office to browse the Artist of the Week entries and even those from the past administration. These are attempts to get artists' stories out into the spotlight in order to develop a cultured society of art lovers. Here are the two so far from the current administration:

Constitutional Convention
Monday, May 28th, 2018

On Monday, the convention was commenced to make necessary changes and alterations to the Enadian Constitution. The first phase was initially kicked off with an editable copy of the brainstorming draft being released, but these were shortly taken away when it was discovered that people were able to edit before the proper phase. According to Attorney General United Republic Empire, the drafters wish to finish their planning and publish a finished draft for a public quorum to avoid confusion that comes with an unfinished draft and all it’s missing holes.


Minister of Education Implements New Classes, Schedules at Luxford

The Minister of Education AlafdalEldeb started publishing lectures for a new, more structured cycle of classes at Enadia’s Luxford University This came out of talks held earlier in the month in which the Culture Minister and President discussed with the M.o.E. about new “Life Studies”, or cultural studies pertaining to real-life and NationStates that may help promote unity in appreciation of our cultural diversity; the M.o.E. brought up the idea that she could make lectures for the stuff she is more versed in, resulting in this new series.

Culture Server Opened
Sunday, May 20th, 2018

The Ministry of Culture opened up a new Culture and Roleplay Server to house Discord Roleplay, Roleplay Committee, E.M.P. Offices, and stages for Cultural Events such as the upcoming SummerFest Arts Exhibition. The server has been extensively used already by roleplayers, but has fallen into what could now be a Summer Drought along with the rest of our Discord and NationStates. The Minister welcomes all citizens, residents, and foreign visitors to the Culture Server.

Visitors need to give their proper credentials (nation, region, citizenship status, etc.) to be properly masked.

Enadia Makes First Steps to restore Military Status by Assisting AIR
Tuesday, May 29th, 2018

Nations from the Enadian Union assisted AIR forces for one of the first missions the region has participated in since it was put under pressure to cease operations by AIR officials at the beginning of May. These operations are still ongoing.

Good Afternoon!
Ladies and gentlemen of the international community, as a respectable government official I feel it is my duty to admit that I probably jumped the gun on our SummerFest in the excitement of planning it and all.

Trust me when I say that it will still go on, but at a later date. Yes, the event has been postponed; it will instead start next month on July the 4th, Enadia's 1st Year Founding Anniversary, and last through August 4th. Until then, we will take the time to plan more than just an inter-regional arts expo and start working on scheduling movie nights, trivia games, sports competitions, music showcases, and much more. I hope to see you all at this event.

This might be better anyway, as are already coordinating state visits (such as our current one hosting The Free Nations Region) and a G8 Summit for A.I.R. Plus, it would have been a shame to just pin this event on the international community at the last minute without any prior knowledge; that is, I'll admit, my bad. As Harry S. Truman would say, the "Buck Stops Here" at my ministry's office on that one.

In that case, then, I will send telegrams to the leadership of any regions who I feel may be interested prior to announcing it on the 1st of July.
