I'm glad to see TEP taking a stronger stance against players who don't care about their region. If you can't put TEP first, you shouldn't expect to see yourself in leadership there. TEP deserves the full attention and dedication of the people who are responsible for it! If all GCRs took the same stance, we would save ourselves a lot of tears about subversion and questionable loyalties, and all be a lot more active. Hail the Loligarchy! You go, Yuno!

I disagree with the direction our government is going to. This shouldn't be a dictatorship! It should be a democracy!

as a supporter of TEP I do not support a permanent dictatorship, TEP is supposed to be democracy, if the Loligarch tries to take away our freedom to express our opinion then that is one thing, if the Loligarch takes away our political freedoms, that is another.

This propaganda is a bunch of cringefest, its not about Cosmos or Userite. It's about public displeasure of her leadership. And how Queen Yuno and her pawns respond it? Instill herself as permanent leader of course.

Sad!

There is two possible solution for this situation
1. Held a fair and legal election, monitored by WA Security Council.
2. Coup by all means, including invasion.

But by recent sentiments of the leadership ring, the outcome will be
3. Banning and banishing opposition.

Another possible solution, albeit unfair
4. A publicly held debate

Well, I'm obviously conflicted.

On one hand, I do have a bias against certain UCRs and userites in general, as well as believing in the superiority of GCRs. However, the totalitarian attitude taken is alarming, to say the least, especially to my own personal opinions on the use of democracy in a region. I do agree there's a need for strong experienced leaders in a region to be strong but to centralize the power to mainly these leaders and prevent the public from voicing their own opinions seem dangerous.

However, you could argue that the leaders don't need to listen to the other members of their region. It's still primarily theirs, and they do have the freedom to conduct it as they please. Plus, as long as the oligarchy doesn't hold ill will to me or TWP, I'd find them tolerable and willing to overlook. That doesn't mean I agree with them. I just don't think it's worth it to cause trouble by making a big din over it.

All in all, while I'm a bit iffy over the oligarchy and the purging, I can tolerate them. As long as TWP and TEP continue their amicable relations, I'll stand as a neutral spectator. No dipping my hands to this Francoist thought. No aiding any rebel attempts. Just watching from the sidelines.

What was the impetus for this change. And why are we concerned about "scaring the newbs?" if the coup is valid, surely we shouldn't worry what new nations think - we should be able to articulate the reasons/rationale, etc. So.. What are they?

That's going to cause more unstability than the ELO created. Are you saying you supported Empire's invasion of TEP?

I mean, I'm not against TEP, not at all. I'm just frustrated with the way the government has moved itself. A dictatorship may be great in one's eyes, others may despise it. So, I'm not for a dictatorship and I hope that TEP will go back to it's democratic roots! Also, the people who support the loligarch are quite harsh to criticism which has basically pissed a lot of people off. Not sure what the deal with userites are, don't know what they are or any examples of who they are, but I guess I oppose them too.

Still, I'm disappointed by the government's recent decisions.

I mean, Queen Yuno should resign for a while and held a fair and legal election by the committee. She could run again of course, but if there's any foul play of course shw should be eliminated.

Holy cow. O_o

I go hiking for a few days in the Appalachian mountains and I come back to this.

I stand in the Cormac/Nakari camp here. If this is a joke, great job! Fun stuff. If this isn’t a joke, as it increasingly appears not to be, I remain extremely dissapointed with Yuno for dismantling a democracy in the name of advancement and increased activity. It’ll be intrested to see what becomes of Lazarus and TEP now. :/

I am a citizen of TEP. Is not a Cosmo. I fully support the move by Queen Yuno and her government to abolish the Concordat and to instate ELO. Most of the citizens supporting this move can be seen with their flags reflecting pink and/or anime. Lastly, all hail the GCRs, pacificos, feederites and ELO! Finally all hail Queen Yuno and long may she reign!
