The Regional Flag, was created by Ascoteran citizen Slaviberia, who won the regional flag contest on March 16, 2018

Ascotera is fairly new region, founded on December 24, 2017. Our region is a North/Winter themed region as we have a polar bear in our flag. Ascotera prides itself on it's constitution which has elections frequently for Premier(Similar to President) and the Senate.

Ascotera also offers plenty of places to stay connected as we have our own regional forums, as well as a discord channel. We have a friendly community and are also aimed towards helping new players learn about nationstates. Unlike most regions, Ascotera is a region where people can make a difference as we have a lot of player participation in how the region develops.

We are constantly looking for new members to join the region of Ascotera. Our only requirement for applying for citizenship is that you have at least one of your nations in the region.

Premier elections begin on Thursday in Ascotera. In our Senate elections, we had a lack of citizens running and we hope that for this premier election, that we have more than one candidate

Due to lack of candidates, premier elections have been changed to February 10, 2018 as per the regional elections act in Ascotera

Regional Elections for Premier have began in Ascotera with Voting starting tomorrow. We currently have one candidate, Talderonas running for Premier.

Like Ascotera Minister of Foreign affairs Perland stated, we are accepting embassies! To establish embassies with our region, it needs to be democratic with an active working government and have at least 10 nations in it.

Some updates in Ascotera
- Premier Elections start in less than two days
- With the help of Foreign minister Perland, Ascotera established embassies with The Confederacy of Free Nations
- Talderonas, Ascotera's premier continues to improve Ascotera. He is now managing the ministry of maps and finance
- Slaviberia's submission won the regional flag contest, and Ascotera changes it's flag.

Ascotera is always looking for new citizens! We have lots of opportunities!

Less than a day until voting starts for Premier, our premier Talderonas, who has done a magnificent job as Senate in the past and premier now, announced their candidacy for premier a few days earlier.
Senate elections are coming up in April, nominations are not open yet, so I am curious to see who will run. Currently, the senators are: United Huskain, Torcello, Widestone


Also another reminder that we are currently looking to establish relations with regions that meet our Embassy requirements.

Since I haven't posted here in awhile, here's just a short update,Ascotera is currently having an election for Premier. Currently, the vote is tied between Talderonas and re-opening nominations, which is the first time it's ever happened in Ascotera. Ascotera is growing, we are starting to send out more recruitment telegrams. We are always looking for new nations to get involved in our democratic government.

Currently, our regional government is not functioning properly. We have only two senators, we have nobody filling minister positions. It's a mess at the moment. It's because we have a lack of nations. We are tired of this, and we are currently sending out tons of recruitment telegrams. We encourage any nation who is looking for a region, to check out Ascotera!

After some discussion with the Premier and some senators, Ascotera will be disbanding the offsite forums. This will help make us more active because the region is too spread out. The NS site, the discord, the offsite forums, are all way too much and can discourage players from getting involved.
