WHAT is most of the DDR coat of arms doing there? Yeah, it looks cool, but I can't help but associate it with that state.

Well, Feuehr Nacht said "pay homage to Germany. But my particular country is more of a dictatorship so somehow incorporate that? However, please do NOT put any Nazi symbols..."

So, I threw a bunch of historical flags into a blender. And the coat of arms reminded me of "Communism" and since most of those sorts of countries are actually dictatorship-y, and I can't do no Nazi stuff, so I put it there. It probably hurts many eyes, but I'm a flag maker not a cultural genius. jeez!

So, I just took a Nazi inspired flag, with that Eagle, with the stylish leaves, and removed the swastika, and put the current German colors!

I like doing German inspired flags.

Okay, so I may not offer the variety of flags that my partner Cennazluga does, but the requests I took on were simple enough.

Monoff (the colonial flag):

Seeing as I modified the original flag, I might as well create the colonial flag. I put a white circle around the already black cross to create a contrast between the black field. The 2:1 ratio mirrors real-life flags that have a canton of another flag.

Chezovolvia:

Simplistic enough to warrant one design. Is this satisfactory?

Most of my posts from now on will look like this- it doesn't rival the regular ten-flag posts of last year, but it'll have to do for now, at least.

I'm afraid I'm not to great at making a full crest/coat of arms from scratch. This is a very rough draft. Please tell me if I'm on the right track and what changes need to be made. Also should the men be playing the musical instrument or blowing an animal horn?

I made several versions, with the robin differing in graphic style. They are all in the original dimensions of the Canadian flag, but I've made one also to fit forum avatar dimensions.

This is the very best that I could do to fix your pixelated flag. Hope it is acceptable.

Since we're requesting flags here:
As my current flag, but firstly, with the colours reversed (That is, a white symbol on a black field).
The symbol should be centred under the national motto ("Better to die standing then live kneeling), arching over it.
On the right-hand side should be a European longsword, business end pointing up (Symbolizing power), whilst on the other side, flanking the center symbol should be a like sword, point down (Symbolizing Righteousness).
If it can be done without making the whole too cluttered, a bullpup-configuration assault rifle should underline the whole thing.

Skimp the details, everything should basically be a shilouette.
