After due consideration, the Commonwealth of Crowns Government has decided on our position on the current 'Radiant Coup'.

We should move to eject Radiant Republic from the ICT on the basis that they are not the original signatories of the treaty. However we do not agree with The Radiant's actions either, and believe we should completely ignore the situation.

We will let The Central Pacific and the UEI take their own stance on the issue, but so long as we are not treaty bound, we will not support either side.

Today, this telegram was received by executives in both The Radiant and Radiant Republic. This response comes after The Radiant voiced concerns that our signature on the Inter-regional Cooperation Treaty was not being honored.

The Radiant is an original signatory of the ICT Treaty, and The Radiant was never officially removed from this document. Radiant Republic was never officially ratified as an ICT nation.

It seems The Radiant is being punished for incompetence from The Commonwealth of Crowns as embassies between our regions have been extinguished. Further attempts to reconstruct relations with The Commonwealth of Crowns have failed as they have rejected our embassy requests.

This region also is in the process of withdrawing relations with Radiant Republic.

We are saddened by this development and are seeking clarity from United Empire of Islam as to The Radiant's status in the ICT Treaty going forward.

We would remind our friends in The Commonwealth that diplomacy can always serve to a region's self interest.

Recently, this message was posted on the OSN regional message board by a puppet of New Bradsfordborough, abusing our friendship with The Radiant by using a puppet there to embassy-post this. New Bradsfordsborough attempts to accuse me of plotting some kind of conspiracy. Hmmmmm...why is it that authoritarian regimes always accuse their enemies of random vague conspiracies? Anyways, I could easily say that he's a sketchy nation. I only had one puppet in The Radiant, simply endorsing the founder and democratically elected president, and when they told me to withdraw my puppet, the puppet left. New Bradfordsborough, on the other hand, has been using several puppets to spread propaganda and cause chaos.

Once again, New Bradfordsborough shows his true face and attempts to launch a smear campaign against a region that he has recently made peace with. The purpose of these so called "Odinburgh Cables" is not restoring piece after a regional civil war. It is not an action taken to save the Daxlamic world from injustice. It is not even exposing the truth about a nation. It is, quite simply, being annoying for the sake of being annoying.

If I recall correctly both of the Radiants are negotiating a different treaty to supersede the one you quoted?

Nobody from Radiant Republic has sought to re-negotiate our treaty and today, this crisis has probably reached its most dire moment.

Radiant Repubic has begun suppressing posts from our embassy, The Zamora, on their Regional Message Board despite the fact that it flies in the face of the treaty both regions signed.

Additionally, Radiant Republic has brought complete shame to their government by appointing a non-WA, undeclared puppet as "Communications Officer."

The nation appointed, Truth to Liars, has suppressed our warnings against free-speech restrictions with the statement: "Threats of war on this RMB are in violation of natural limits on free speech accepted by free societies."

In reality, we did not threaten war upon Radiant Republic but simply reminded them of the terms of the treaty they signed when Truth to Liars began publicly floating the idea of suppressing posts from The Radiant and her embassies. Here is what they considered a "threat of war:"

We believe the appointment of Truth to Liars to the position of Communications Officer in Radiant Republic is a flagrant violation of the peace our region's have accomplished as this nation has repeatedly spewed hateful words against Dáxlam and has also been a staunch supporter of the original genocidal language that intensified this crisis.

Odinburgh has made this appointment, despite any written authority to do so within Radiant Republic's regional government.

Truth to Liars is believed to be a puppet of a belligerent nation closely involved in this crisis, though it remains unsure who is behind this nation and their crass style.

We believe allies of Radiant Republic should strongly reconsider their relationship with this region given this new information. Radiant Republic's government is continuing to destroy their legitimacy as a region that should be considered a world actor.

We call upon United Empire of Islam, Central Pacific Empire and Cobalt Network to step into this most recent development with a condemnation of Radiant Republic. If this flippant activity towards The Treaty of The Radaints continues, we will push for a WA condemnation of Radiant Republic.

The Radiant is not responding to this latest suppression in any way that steps beyond the scope of our treaty at this point.

The suppression of our embassy on Radiant Republic's regional message board is being considered an act of war, though we are seeking a peaceful resolution to this latest aggressive action.

If our pleas are in vein, we will have no choice but to consider further steps to respond to this action, which may bring the unintended consequence of widening this conflict between The Radiants.

Our last appeal asks for United Empire of Islam to begin drafting a WA condemnation proposal concerning Radiant Republic while these mediation talks continue. We have full confidence United Empire of Islam will continue to provide leadership through honor in this crisis.

Though I may have signed the treaty Radiant Republic hasn't fully ratified it yet. Therefore I have asked President Shreminov to have a poll to settle this matter democratically whether its official or not official at all depending on outcome of poll results.

The currently nullified treaty between The Radiant and Radiant Republic was edited a number of times with the final edit by it's author occurring at 4:38 PM. Odinburgh's statement below it agreeing to the terms was edited at 4:40 PM. This basically gave him less than 2 minutes to put this treaty to any debate or polling in the Radiant Republic, which is a democratically formed and sovereign region. Of course that time frame is impossible. Odinburgh felt basically bullied and harassed into this treaty. The language of the treaty is inflammatory and completely one-sided.

I see no specific mention of permitting the Daxlamic puppet nation The Zamora (which was allowed entry into the Radiant Republic by said nullified treaty) any carte blanche privileges of free speech. Yet this nation has engaged in inflammatory rhetoric finger-pointing at various nations and accusing them of being puppets while he himself is ironically a puppet. I myself have been a subject of his wrath and he of mine. None of these postings by The Zamora served any purpose in ceasing hostility. Instead it was more bullying and stalker like behavior. In his latest post, he threatened war because of my lawful attempts to remove previous uncivil language by all parties on our R&B. His is not the actions of a peacemaker, but a war monger.

As for any RP in which New Bradsfordburg went into a coma *rolls eyes* after a fantasy assassination attempt that Odinburgh perpetrated, I ask what difference does that make? It was an RP. Nations get destroyed in RP fantasies every day but emerge unscathed. Sometimes the entire world is destroyed in RPs. It's a fantasy, just like Z-Day and N-Day. We all know going into an RP that it is an RP and it is fantasy. No one is actually hurt. On the other hand, any nations breaking away from one sovereign region and forming another sovereign region is normal day-to-day activities in NationStates. This happens all the time. It is the linchpin of activities in NS itself. RPing is fantasy and does not translate into the actions which occurred to form The Radiant Republic.

As to who actually suggested we form the Radiant Republic region, it was a suggestion I made which is easy to verify. It was part of a conversation on The Radiant RMB. As for myself, (Truth to Liars), I can attest and others can see I wasn't a part of this RP at all or any RP. Therefore the idea to breakaway was not related at all to the RP in question of which I had no knowledge. It was strictly related to the religious persecution I felt perpetrated upon nations in The Radiant by New Bradfordsburg. Odinburgh agreed with me on the RMB and founded RR on the principles of democracy and religious freedom. The RP was never mentioned at any time. So the entire premise of the creation of RR as a separate region being related to this RP is completely false. The treaty is based on inuendo. It was signed under duress and without any polling of the treaty in our democratic region, Radiant Republic.
Since this time we have replaced Odinburgh as president and created a Supreme Court of which I am Chief Justice.
This treaty is fraudulent and/or invalid based on it's misleading premise concerning Radiant Republic's formation as the result of RP activities and was never ratified by nations of RR or examined by our court. I have de-certified the treaty based on the grounds stated above. We will also conduct a vote on this treaty as well. As for now that is where the matter stands.
