A little about our region...

Are you looking for a region to have fun in? Are you looking for an active Modern Tech/Modern World Roleplaying group with maps of the real world? Well then I ask that you consider our regions, the NationStates World Regions and the Middle East. Our Group began in 2002, among the early days of NationStates, when Paradise founded the Middle East. At one point we operated four other regions, besides the Middle East: European Continent, Asian Continent, American Continent, and African Continent. We've had a variety of players join us over the years and we've told some very entertaining and fun-filled stories. Though we have a highly developed and rich player generated history, there are still plenty of stories left to be told. We also have plenty of room for new players to come make their own unique mark on our ever-growing, and ever changing world.

What we have to offer...
1. A well-developed and highly organized off-site forums which allow you to thoroughly catalog your nation's political and military information, RP between multiply players, and post graphics and other images to enhance your storytelling.
2. Maps of all the regions of Earth: Africa, the Americas, Asia,Europe, and the Middle East
3. Our own International Body known as the International Commonwealth of Nations (ICON)
4. We also maintain our own wiki
5. No bureaucratic morass known as a regional government to slow us down, we're only interested in our own internal gameplay.
6. Our own international football league (soccer) which regularly plays world tournament.

Of all the regions I've been in, and it's a lot, over the years (since 2004), Nationstates World Regions is by far my favourite. The folks around here are fun, creative, welcoming, and passionate about roleplaying. There's a reason I keep coming back here...everyone is wonderful! Just thought I'd let everyone whose looking for a region (and possibly considering ours) know that we've got a really good RP story going on right now. Its a civil war in one of our member's nations that is a Republican vs. Nationalists war. Its open for others to get involve, to choose sides, and all that. Its set to be quite the story and its an easy way for new players to jump right into our game play (especially people who sometimes aren't sure what to write or how to start a good RP story)

Long overdue bump. I realize summer is fast approaching which for some may mean extra time on their hands.
