I can quote my growing collection of hatemail if need be. Their telegrams get pretty ugly in the name of Christianity. While a few of you are better examples of how a Christian player should conduct themselves the intolerant minority speaks louder.

As it does with all religions. With all due respect, CoS, I'd say you're hardly being rational or fair here to the community as a whole.

Not all religions. Some of them out there (like mine for example) know how to conduct ourselves as human beings. If my taking issue with a theme that could result in further personal and spiritual hatred against me is unfair then yes I am being unfair. If you'd experienced what I have you would understand.

Colorful hair is always attractive. Why do you think people are so afraid of clowns? It's hard to take in so much awesome from one person.

This is a horrible idea!

Would it be a region only for Christians?

Should there be a GCR for each of the world's major religions?

If regions conflict, would there be religious wars?

If it would just be a generic theological region, I see a lot of constant arguments about who is right. This would need constant moderating. Do you have separate channels for each of the world's major religions?

I do not support this idea. It would be a disaster.

Hear hear.

It sounds like you're talking about the intolerant majority, which is often than not the culprit.

Imki on the RMB just a few moments ago:

Unfortunately, all good things must come to an end and that includes our beautiful anarchy. It's been a lot of fun but in the end we all want the same thing: a stable Lazarus again, built by Lazarenes for Lazarenes. Anarchy, as entertaining as it is, "proves" that a government isn't needed by showing every reason why it's needed. I hope that amidst the chaos you've also learned a thing or two about each other because I personally have found all the speculation, postulation, plots and power plays absolutely fascinating and very revealing.

On Sunday, a constitutional convention to further decide the fate of Lazarus will begin. Until then, get settled in, enjoy the chaos, and if you like, praise (and endorse) your Anarqueen Imkiville! \o/

While I am naturally upset that Imki would banject a friend and family-member of mine who was only there to help the region (despite the false propaganda), I am excited to see if she can pull off a true "Lazarus, built by Lazarenes for Lazarenes".

To that end, TWP has pulled out all TWPAF troops from the region. I hope that my colleagues from other regions follow my lead and remove their pilers before Sunday so the natives can truly have a real say in their future.

PS
Before anyone says "Of course you pulled TWPAF, Minineenee isn't there any more" our troops were also supporting Imki.

Why should the pilers supporting Imki leave? That would only destabilize Lazarus and improve Adytus' chances of taking the Delegacy.

Perhaps I just answered my own question.

Actually, I'm surprised that Adytus wasn't banjected too. Perhaps an oversight.
If it is really going to be "Lazarus, built by Lazarenes for Lazarenes" then that is a logical move.

I'm guessing Imki doesn't have quite enough influence yet, but I don't know the exact influence mechanics tbh

I suppose... I haven't looked at the influence either.
It's a shame that she doesn't have anyone else in the region that she trusts enough to give BC powers to. Even temporarily to help her clean out some of the high-endo outsiders.

As noted, I think it's the influence factor that is preventing Adytus' banjection, for now.

I think you need to reflect on Imki's stated goal in its entirety. She stated that the goal is "a stable Lazarus again, built by Lazarenes for Lazarenes." The mechanism by which to accomplish that goal is clearly the constitutional convention, which will see Lazarenes building a new, stable government for themselves, while Imki, as Delegate, guarantees the region's stability during the convention. The foreign support for Imki is contributing to the stable environment needed for Lazarenes to go about the business of rebuilding. The disappearance of foreign support would undermine stability, and increase the likelihood that someone would ascend to the Delegacy who does not have the goal of a stable Lazarus, rebuilt by and for Lazarenes, in mind. Such people and their foreign sponsors still exist, and it is still entirely possible for the foreign entities that don't have Lazarus' best interests in mind to return and attempt to install their preferred Delegate. None of that is what's best for Lazarus. Imki's plan is best for Lazarus, and other regions should support it by continuing to provide support for Imki's Delegacy. To do anything else would only contribute to instability and the potential for another invasion.

The inference here being that the people endorsing Imki are also going to be taking part in the Constitutional Convention? There's nothing to suggest that is the case. Foreign support is purely to help maintain in-game security, and is a separate issue from any forum-based offsite happenings.

Speaking for myself, obviously, but I have no plans to join Lazarus, and therefore no plans to join the Convention. My WA will remain in support of Imki until such a time as my officers determine otherwise.

I would definitely hope that the Lazarenes running the convention have a very healthy suspicion of outsiders, tourists, and cosmos.

As for pulling out coalition forces--- that would be a bad idea. Only one group of regions here wants to grab Lazarus for themselves. The coalition TSP is a part of is there to prevent that from happening and let Lazarus finally rule itself. TSP wouldn't be part of it otherwise.

TRR/RRA is part of it as well. Whatever people may think of this region's or that region's motives, TRR wouldn't join a coalition that is up to no good. The alliance between Lazarus and TRR is possibly older than any other alliance in NationStates, and TRR has never been anything but a steadfast ally to Lazarus.

We also simply shouldn't be taking anything said by those who were just supporting Neenee and/or Adytus seriously. They left when they were defeated, not because of any good faith support for a sovereign Lazarus, with a government rebuilt by and for Lazarenes. That wasn't their agenda and it still isn't.

Bless your heart, Cormac but you do make it hard to be gracious.

I know that this is a foreign concept in this forum, but if it couldn't be Minineenee then I sincerely hope that it is what Imki is promising.

That would be easier to believe had you not withdrawn TWPAF from Lazarus after Neenee was banjected, then came here to urge every other region to also withdraw their forces, despite the destabilizing effect that would have on Lazarus. I would find what you're saying more believable if TWPAF had stuck around to support Imki through the constitutional convention, as a coalition of four Feeders and Sinkers is already doing.

Maybe you'll reconsider and get on board with this, with actions rather than just words, as it's clearly what's best for Lazarus. I hope so.

Lazarus will get to choose for itself if it wants to be home to invaders. But let's not pretend that there isn't a very long history of cosmo players being up to no good in Lazarus. GCRs tend to be better off when there's a solid and dedicated community.

What we're about to see is basically what happened when Balder and Osiris were created, with all the good and bad that was. Except this time, there's actually a community of players who are dedicated to Lazarus. My advice to them, take it or leave it, is that somebody with 3, 4, 5 different memberships across NS usually has trouble with split loyalties.

Including TSP's ally, the NPO, and TSP itself.

But the victor gets to write the history, right guys?

It should be noted that the NPO is already refusing requests to endorse natives and that TSP had a pre-planned idea that Roavin himself tried to pitch to me where a committee of mostly NPO members will get to oversee the Constitutional Convention.

Let the games being!
