Players talked about how Lazarus drastically changed in fabric when the PRL took power. Though I would argue that Milograd and co did a pretty fine job activity wise, despite the bans and intrigue of that administration. This was largely due to Lazarus being in a real slumber, at the very least since some of the old UN/WA delegates had left. Now it has drastically changed again, this time allegedly to the detriment of defenders and some independents.
Ultimately what is done is done, and really you can speculate all day on someone else taking over Lazarus, or on some future victory over the current administration by a resistance movement. But that won't change that for the foreseeable future Funkadelia is the WA Delegate and King of Lazarus.
I was away for a while[1], and I butted heads with Funkadelia and Lamb while I had power there, so not really surprised they don't want me involved there much anymore, and I get that, so I don't concern myself about it. I don't keep grudges or get wound up over things, at least since late 2012[2], when I stopped being all that serious about Gameplay.
I generally find with Gameplay, that eventually you will find groups of people and regions you don't like, or that the game changes beyond what you feel comfortable with. When that happens you can choose to be grumpy about things, develop personal vendettas, or just see regions as they are, fictional creations on an online browser game, which you are free to join in on or not.
