There have always been posts by anonymous puppets, but the proliferation of such posts has gotten really obnoxious. People should honestly just stop paying them any attention in the hopes of encouraging people to actually put their names to their opinions, and their bad satire.

Seems like they're from 2 different people, called "Defender" and "Lazar"".

There's always a puppet or two around spouting opinions that they wouldn't want to associate with their actual identities. Some say, the puppetmaster may be leaking information without being fingered as the leaker; some say, the puppetmaster wants to put out a viewpoint without being accused of bias because of tangentially related stuff. Some say, the puppetmaster is the first Game Of War™ player ever.

As a generality, the normal anonymous puppet is somebody who believes that they have something to lose. With all of these however, I'm not so sure. Obviously all the Lazarus groups are propaganda from the anti-Funk side(heck I'm on it & don't mind saying that, because it's true) whereas the defender people(or person?) is likely somebody who is running a false flag smear campaign. I certainly won't name any names, but several people wouldn't really surprise me. However it is getting a little old

Nobody important in gameplay pays any actual attention to puppet accounts. But then again, that can go both ways. Nobody cared who I was, until I put on the mask.

Still bemuses me why we need a separate Lazarus Guardian and Lazarus Free Press when they've got the same editorial line anyway, so I'd assume that they're separate people. Curious Observations stopped posting around the time that Funk launched his purge IIRC, so was likely being run by somebody who got purged and thence became able to post openly.

The Honest Defender, meanwhile, is a troll, and is the textbook example of the imagined Defender Under The Bed that stops people like NES and Cormac sleeping at night; and given that no real defender would actually act like that leads us to assume that they're being run as a false flag by somebody like NES or Cormac.

I am just an honest defender; not a darkspawn like NES or Cormac. I only am anonymous; since so many other defenders were doing it. It's the only way; we can say what we really mean;.

Hiding behind puppets is to make a point they are afraid of making on their main because of the political backfire they will get.

I have noticed a few mains accidentally use their puppets or people who use their puppets and sign their names.

Puppetry is to shift the view off the person and to a topic but mostly seen as hiding.

There are others who use a puppet to troll like a 5 year old. But they arent worth my time.
