Well, that's quite threatening/gory...

Really, why do you support such a bad medical condition to happen to the couper? Sure, his coup is bad and unwanted, but this call for hemorrhaging seems a little too far...

And the article?

IN LAZARUS, SUPPORT FOR FUNKADELIA HEMORRHAGING

Uniterra, Lazarus - Funkadelia, Lazarene rogue delegate, appears to be losing more and more endorsements as the day progresses; in response, he's taken to the Regional Message Board, blaming foreign influence as the source of the resistance, while accusing a foreign campaign (via the South Pacific and the Grey Wardens) of 'propping up' local conspirators in Lazarus.

When approached for comment, Aumelodia, Lazarene head of state, told the Free Press that efforts to reach out to residents were proving effective.

"I've contacted everyone endorsing Funk and I've received more than fifty telegrams in response," says Aumelodia.

Recent losses to Funkadelia's endorsement count.

The losses in both endorsements and trust comes at a critical time for Funkadelia, accused of treason alongside two other members of the so-called "Gang of Three" (Evil Wolf and Lamb Stone): fellow members of the invader group, Lone Wolves United, which last invaded Lazarus in 2005 under Evil Wolf's command.

I'm sure it has nothing to do with the multiple unendorsement campaigns being run by the coup members.

What are we on now? Telegram effort number 6?

Just what we needed, yet another thread about Lazarus. Could you not have written this for Curious Observations or the Lazarene Guardian?

I don't think an argument can be made that any of this is "critical" to Funkadelia's success when the endorsement gap is still 100+, or even 50+.

Even my scorecard needs a score card now.

Frankly, the so called 'hemorrhaging' of Funkadelia's endorsement count has been anemic compared to prior sinker unendorsement campaigns. Perhaps try harder.

Very much this. I had more success against Durk in Osiris during his 2013 coup, in a single day, than the "resistance" has had against Funkadelia all week.

We're only reporting on what we see.

Namely, a situation that is continuing to get more urgent for the rogue delegate:

And, once again, it isn't "urgent" until he's below 200 and the "resistance" is within striking distance.

Pro Tip: "Hemorrhaging" should be capitalized as it is part of the title and not a coordinating conjunction or a preposition.

Thanks. We're using a wire service style where titles are not specially capitalized. Unlike, say, The New York Times.

You know what is cool? I came up with the term "Gang of Three". It's based off the "Gang of Four' from Chinese history.

I am enjoying this experience so much, and I look forward to hearing how Funk is losing his support.

Well Lazarus called the NLO coupers the "Gang of Five" so you aren't exactly the first one to have that idea.

You didn't come up with that.

Nobody told me this... :(

Oh well, it's a great reference and people are going to use it.

Now I just need to get people to say the words "Freebooting" when we talk about people who coup regions.

The following statements have recently been analyzed by GameplayFact on our scale:

"Funkadelia...appears to be losing more and more endorsements as the day progresses" -- Lazarene Free Press
Image

Despite the rhetoric behind this claim, the Lazarene Free Press is actually right here--Funkadelia held 268 endorsements on July 26, and only holds 249 now. In actual numbers, the article is spot-on, but what they presume are the implications of this statement are a little ridiculous. Funkadelia does appear to be losing some support from native Lazarenes as a part of a long series of telegrams asking nations to support the "government-in-exile" and unendorse the Delegate, the power situation in the region, at least in terms of numbers, remains slightly more stable than the Press implies, as there is a gulf of 109 endorsements separating the Delegate from the next-closest non-Guardian, Courlany,
who stands at 140 endorsements. While the situation in Lazarus isn't good for Funkadelia, he's still firmly in charge, for better or worse. As such, this statement gets the rating Mostly True.

the government utterly condemns this blatantly immoral challenge to our monopoly on free media in lazarus and challenges the editor-in-chief to engage ours in a bout of fisticuffs

If you have a monopoly on the media then it isn't free is it?

cut it out there with your logical communist rhetoric or you too will be engaged in fisticuffs

In all seriousness, we welcome the expansion of fact-based and freedom-focused reporting on the situation in Lazarus.

Gross. I urge the editor to reconsider his/her stylistic preferences.
