G'Day! the Imperial Fatherland welcomes you to join the realistic role-play side of our region. If you're like me than you said screw the pesky politics, we guarantee you can safely role-play without the worry of annoying regional policies interrupting your mojo! The role-play world is set in an alternate 1960s dominated by the German Empire and its constituents. We need you to fill in the gaps of important nations that don't exist in role-play quite yet. Don't wanna take the time to try and find a suitable concept? No worries! We have pre-planned concepts ripe for the pickin'! German-aligned USA? The Confederate States, we got that too. The 'Middle Kingdom', aka China, right here. We promise that the Imperial Fatherland will provide the most interesting RP world located on NS. See ya there!

The United States of America ~ Open
The United States of America stands proudly as the uncontested hegemon of the Americas and as the world's second most prominent nation. The United States gained 'the Bomb' shortly after the German Empire and currently maintains the second largest arsenal in the world. It's large population and heavy manufacturing industry blend to create a truly deadly advantage to be held over the heads of its peers. The United States owes much of its success to the successful campaigns waged in World War One and Two. US forces were instrumental in the defeat of the 'Allies' in the First World War. U.S. forces overran the Confederate States ending a vital ally of the British and French. The U.S. also diverted forces into Canada to lure British forces in and prevent Canadian troops from leaving for Europe in fear of a massive American invasion. These actions lead to the formation of an alliance between Germany and the United States. World War II picked off from the end of the First World War, the resurgent powers of France and the Soviet Union viewed Germany as weak due to pressure from the Great Depression and seeked vengeance. The United States was also invaded by an old resurgent foe, the Confederate States. World War II became the deadliest war fought by mankind but finally ended in a U.S.-German victory. The Confederate States, now defeated twice by the United States in less than 50 years, is at the whim of the Yankees. The two powers, once again, stood on top of the world as the undisputed superpowers. The only question is will the United States continue it's alliance with Germany and recognize German dominance as its number two, or will it make a greater name for itself?

The 20th century has not been well for the Confederacy. The United States has won the past two confrontation between the two American powers. The Confederate States now stands at the mercy of the United States. Since the last World War, the Confederate States have been rebuilding. The U.S., keen on keeping the 'Rebs' in line, has elected to assist in the reconstruction of the South. But, the Southern fighting spirit has not given in to the Norths' false sense of acceptance. The U.S. military and the appointed American officials are targeted ruthlessly by the paramilitary group, The Sons of the Confederacy. The group continues to gain the support of their Southern brethren as they battle towards their ultimate goal; freedom. Once again, the Confederate States must fight for their right of self-determination. Blood, time and money is what the Confederate people must spend to succeed, will they?
