Man, I just lay down the rat traps and wait for them to snap. I save my efforts for venues which actually matter, the GP Forum is just a venue for amusement.

Congratulations? Are these the random people Yuno dragged off the street that never actually did anything in SPSF? Not to worry though, there's already plenty of information showing up at my door from TBH without me even asking ;)

Good thing you’ve put about as much effort into defending recently, then. That “lay out the trap and wait for us to step in it” plan really worked well in Iran, I guess. Still waiting for the “trap” part though. But I guess the plan there is to save effort by just waiting for us to leave? Truly, whatever the more important thing you’re waiting for must be *vital.*

Which brings up a good point to remind you of - TSP is considered an active, defender enemy of ours, banned from our chat, cross-membership not allowed, yada yada. If anything, I’m being excessively polite in my criticism of your update! ;)

I think you’ll like who it is when they show up on our reports. Meanwhile, I hope you’re enjoying your oh-so-useful leaks. They’re really making a difference in winning battles, eh?

I haven't been at an update in over a month due to RL matters, so yeah I'll openly admit I haven't put much effort into defending lately. You might want to save the update-related commentary for someone who's been more attentive to all that.

It's good to know that The Black Hawks are willingly to openly admit their hostility towards The South Pacific, though. I'm proud that we're past the stage when The Black Hawks try to subvert our military, that stage was so dreary.

I'm enjoying the leaks plenty, both from the server and from outside of it. Some of them provide strategic benefit, others simply provide amusement. Either way, I figure that just the fact that they exist gives you angst.

Tim has not been updating for RL reasons and that has been publicly known. It's shameful to harp on that.

Then, I was just MoMA and faced the same struggles that Yuno before me faced which was recruitment and retention. It's an issue that military orgs face. I tried some things related to culture that didn't always work and have felt like I wish I had tried a million different other things.

Glad, that under this cabinet TSP has been making alliances with players and regions we truly enjoy hanging out with, playing Werewolf with and overall like are fun people :)

Tim has regularly updated on and off (mostly on) for about six years now. If he's having to take a break at the moment, I don't think that's an issue.

Regarding The Roman Empire

The content uncovered from the Discord server of The Roman Empire yesterday is absolutely despicable. The kinds of beliefs expressed in those logs have no place in our modern society, and especially have no place within the Gameplay community. The individuals involved, Festavo and Plagentine, should not be welcome within our Gameplay community any further. They certainly are not welcome within The South Pacific, as we pride ourselves on being an inclusive and safe community. The South Pacific has previously carried diplomatic ties to The Roman Empire through our cooperation in anti-Fascist operations, but recent events have made clear that a further relationship will not be viable.

Effective immediately, The South Pacific will not be cooperating with The Roman Empire, or any region that maintains Festavo or Plagentine in a position of power, in any avenues. The conduct seen from those individuals is unforgivable, and their attempted apology only makes clear that they only feel bad for being caught, rather than for spouting the hateful rhetoric which was seen.

Sincerely,

Roavin

A good decision from TSP. I'm glad NS is taking a full-fledged stand against these actions.

Fash-bashing, yes. But other options were never off the table, and indeed a joint tag run or two would have likely come to fruition.

This may sound communist and/or TSP Nextist but...

I'm tired of the Gameplay elite faction of our Cabinet ignoring the RMB and general populace and instead choosing to debate with other GP Elite from other regions, most of which is nothing except choosing to conflict with other people who have no say in our affairs and are just baiting us. Especially Tim.
I would really love it if Roa, Glen, or Tim showed up on the RMB at least once a week to talk to the people who put in work and make this region great.
This is just a request. Not flamebaiting. Also, question: Have any of our cabinet members (besides Somy, he da best!) communicated with our new Local Council?

To be fair, the game side hasn't exactly been putting in a Herculean effort to connect with the "Gameplay Elite".

And the Local Council hasn't worked to get in touch with the cabinet either, so I say shame on the LC too!*

I'm the Foreign Minister. My job is Foreign Affairs. I'm not sure what is so shocking about my job, therefore, resulting in myself spending much of my communication time with other regions and their officials.

Also, you're aware that Glen isn't a member of the Cabinet, right? As for the RMB, I generally avoid RMBs because I find their flow and lack of organization far too chaotic for myself to actually enjoy speaking over them. I'm very easy to reach over Telegram, Discord, the Forum, or whatever other feasible avenue someone would prefer. If you have concerns to bring up, or would like to talk to me about something, my door is always open.

Finally, you keep on hammering this "GP Elite" thing, but I'm not sure you even know what you mean when you say that.

Couple answers to your questions:
1. I mean that this is pretty much the only thing you are doing here. I would like it if you could add the RMB to one of those things that you did.

2. Yes, I am aware, however I usually count the CRS as the cabinet, as they are regional officials.

3. I'm sure that if you talked and stirred up some conversation about, well, pretty much whatever is going on, NS or otherwise, there would be a lot of TSPers who would be willing to talk to you and have nice conversations with. A Cabinet member talking with a group of normal citizens is much more reliable than talking to one citizen.

4. I know perfectly well what i'm talking about. You, EWS, Cormac, Syl, Lord Dominator, Roa, Glen. I could go on.
