Regional Government Directory

When I was an active player, I kept a document of who was who in any given government. Frankly, it was tedious to update, given that some more inactive regions were not helpful in providing up to date government information.

I'd like to establish a public Regional Government Directory (RGD) to help people know who is who in any given government.

I think I have the GCRs mostly correct in who is who in those regions (however I know I'm missing some positions), but if any officials spot sections which require edits, please post below. Further, as I'm a retired feederite, I ask that UCR regions and multi-regional organizations which wish to be listed in the RGD follow the format as seen below. I'll be editing this as soon as new information is presented to me.

Do we necessarily have to be in a given UCR to supply details for that, or can we do so if we find accurate information about them?

So long as the information is accurate and not contradicted by the region, I'll accept it.

EDIT: I should note that in the event that there are two recognized governments or so vying for control over the same region (say in a coup situation), I'll also be taking records for each camp (and making note as such) until such time that there is a general consensus over the legitimacy of who holds governance in said region.

In Osiris, the Chief Vizier is the Head of State, not a member of Cabinet.

I disagree with your interpretation. Pharaoh is Head of State while Chief Vizier more operates under a Prime Ministerial role. Certainly one can say that the Chief Vizier is a day-to-day leader of the OFO compared to the Pharoah, but Head of State? No.

Further, I separate members of the Delegacy team (such as the Delegate and the Vice Delegate) from the other members of a cabinet due to the variety of governance styles in regions. We see in TSP where there is a more ceremonial nature of Delegate towards the Cabinet compared to The Pacific where the Emperor is a member of the Senate.

Please note that I prefer to use the main names of players when updating this list, especially if they're using alternative names in regions. For example, if I had done this years ago, when TNP Delegate I would have listed myself as Dalimbar instead of Chodean Kal, the nation I used while Delegate.

I really badly misspoke. I meant Head of Cabinet. :blush:

The Chief Vizier is like a Prime Minister, absolutely. It's the top elected role in the OFO, and their role puts them above the Cabinet (which they select and have executive control over), and just below the Delegates.

I should also note that in regions which have equivalent positions, such as TSP, I've included the Prime Minister position at the top of the list of Cabinet positions, in recognition of their status.

Edit: I'll note that I had a hard time in the case of Lazarus on where to place their Celestial Being by virtue of their status of Head of State. Thus, I created a Head of State section directly below the Delegacy section, and when UCRs start to post here (or I find out otherwise), I'll be listing Founders and/or recognized Heads of State which aren't Delegates in a similar fashion.

Yup, I see that now! All I request is that you put (Prime Minister) next to Chief Vizier, since non-Osirans are likely to look at it and not know WTF it is. :lol:

I'm certainly good with that. In the case of NPO, I know their current Senator-ranked positions can cause confusion, so I'll list them and other non-obvious positions with a note as to what functions they hold.

Edit: Also did the same to the Statsminister of Balder, who holds an equivalent position to the Grand Vizier of Osiris. Plus updated some other positions to identify their portfolios.

The Chief Vizier is most commonly referred to as the Head of Government in Osiris, while the Pharaoh serves as the Head of State.

I would like to note that at present, the entry for TEP Cabinet is not complete. That is because when I was doing my search yesterday, I was having a difficult time trying to find out who, if any, formed Cabinet positions. If anyone can assist with filling that out, please feel free to post here. And again, if you know of regions which should be included here, or people who aren't listed, please feel free to post also.

Lazarus Update:

Ike resigned as Archbishop of Media and the position was absorbed into the Archdiocese of the Interior.
Wintermoot and Lamb were confirmed as Guardians.
It's quite frankly unknown who's a Prelate at this point. Omega, Adytus, Church of Satan and Evil Wolf (particularly the latter two) could all be considered Prelates depending on how the law is interpreted. Omega, Adytus and Evil Wolf are the only claimed Prelates masked as such on the forums and on Discord, however.
