beginning of possibly the worst update to befall nationstates in the history of r/d

hey nerds; basically we started this major with the absolute classic, time-honored lily tradition of people wanting update credit in libcord with minimum effort put forth. but guess what? this time it wasnt lily people shamelessly wanting credit

! this time it was resident bigger nerds the united vex imperium (mathew no longer of hartfelden) and alfonzo (the former boda/current big a). anyways we were just vibin in vc as we do, and they came to me and were like "hey could you start bee shit would be pretty badass" and me being the defender puppet that i am, started the bot, ready to move out for some free clout c:<

the terribleness continues: the midst of update

as we made it through regions, me and the boys had a realization: there is a class of oppressors in nationstates, the ones behind the regions we'd been detagging! it was a menace as old as time itself: pant-wearers. after this shocking revelation, we realized that this detag run was in fact, a much more dire matter than merely wanting the shallow clout of a libcord #reports mention. as we lept from region to region, and the #team_1 channel further fell into a pit of chaos, our liberation of the regions from the pant-wearers continued, and skirts and thigh highs were distributed to all, making our first dents into the pant-wearer faction of nationstates!

if you want to help free nationstates from the pant-wearers of old, then join lily now!

OPERATION DRAMA LLAMA

_{The curtain opens...}

Frenchy II walks out onto the stage. She begins her soliloquy...

The crowd erupts into cheers and tears at the end of her monologue, soon the music starts. "Tarantella!" she shouts, but the orchestra pit has other ideas! Chingis directs the pit to play a favorite of his, Island Made of Plums. Frenchy stands on the stage confused as the Ghost of Steven's Past enters in to view. Frenchy loudly proclaims, "Chingis is so toxeen! I wish I never joined Lily!" but the Ghost of Steven's Past has other plans. She's whisked away to an island made of plums where sweeze, Tim-Opolis, Haku, and FiHami all lie on the beach. A chorus of folks enter in up stage, singing their song...

"On an island made of plums...
we'll be raidin' and havin' fun!
And it makes me so tired
NS has me insane."

"Oh my god, what happened!" shouts Frenchy. "Well," says Scoob, "After stargazer the burnout really set in and folded. Welcome to Plum Island. Once an embassy hub, now a retirement village. She looks out across the water to see Liliarchy pulling Gibraltarica behind in a tube. "But what's the current state of R/D?" "Well, The Atlae Isles Nimarya have united EPSA and NPA into NEPSA, KazamanicEuropeia has absorbed all the old Lily members into Europeia, and Overthinkers and TWPAF have plundered the tagging pool." "Anything else?" asks Frenchy. "Still Jumping" has dethroned Xoriet and Marinas Island."

Frenchy awakes in a cold sweat. The stage, Chingis, NEPSA... it was all but a dream. Moved to tears by this dream, Frenchy decides to throw a big antifa party to show R/D her appreciation. The curtain falls and the cast takes their bow...

Howdy, we actually have every tag, most of us in the Commonwealth of liberty are liberals and rather progressive minded people, we are a democracy and by no means endorsed fascism.

I really feel sorry for anyone who assumes we actually are, AFTER the facts have come to light — I’ve compare it to the way Trump supporters somehow assume Bernie Sanders’ policies are somehow “communistic” when they really are not

From what I’ve been told it was a terrible mistake and it didn’t really harm us anyway from our side, but we hope in the future further research would be done, we have no allegiance to any fascist region to begin with, we tend to keep to ourselves and simply RP Geopolitical events as we have done since our founding back in 2013.

And just to clarify — we were never told anything about the fascist tag, as a matter fact one of the first tags we have is anti-fascist, but then again that’s because we have every single tag a nationstates practically.

I think this mistake would’ve been averted if someone would’ve simply messaged me or the founder account For a potential removal, or simply looked on our homepage and realize that we do have again, practically every tag.

After the failed raid, I decided to simply take down the tag to avoid any further confusion, as a matter fact I don’t even know why nationstates has this tag to begin with.

I hope this clears up any confusion, and I wish you all well!

Great! It's good to see you're taking this in stride; we didn't thoroughly research each region, and some of the bonus hits were only loosely associated with fascism. Many of them were probably unaware of the association at all ("innos" as Haku called them). The textbook org response would be to say "you're to blame for not ensuring disassociation", but as a person, if you found yourself unjustly on the wrong side of the barrel - sorry, our bad.

It's alright, we didn't lose anything at all, our WFE remains intact and so on — I do appreciate the understanding and apology, it's very mature, so thank you!

Since when was the Commonwealth of Crowns fascist? I haven't checked on them in a very long time, but as far as I can remember, they were just a really small imperialist region.
