When Update Gets a Little Weird

Let's pretend I know what I'm doing and call this some atmospheric music for the following report

Once upon a time... Wait, no wrong opening

Normally a report would be made by the next update. (This is for Major: November 9th-10th 2017)

Normally, major update is only an hour long.

Normally, Lily doesn't have NS forum reports with more than a list of regions, or even NS forum reports at all.

Normally reports don't have mostly random images at the top.

That update, and this report however are different. Because...

We started this update with but two warriors, well-prepared and running on the hope that major would once again be two hours long, all the better to ~~break the single team record~~ get a high hitcount.
Two warriors chugged along on a single team, and were eventually joined by another warrior of Lily and a friend from SPSF, allowing the formation of a second team about an hour in.
4 people, 1.5 teams, and 2 hours later, 96 regions stood conquered and flattened. This isn't really a record, but hey, proof legal scripts are just as good as illegal ones.

This major update, the elite and highly trained warriors of LILY undertook one of this years most grueling R/D game play challenges to date, one left well alone even by The Black Hawks, well known for their desire to end Delegate Streaks. However, as proud ~~Lilians~~ ~~Lilya..~~ ~~Lilumeeee?~~ ~~Lillers~~ ugh fuck it Members of LILY, we could not let even the most dangerous, challenging and arduous of tasks stand unfinished; even the highest of mountains stand unconquered.

And thus, on this epic major of unforeseen weirdness and awkward pauses (best described by Kleo: "How this practice passed on to the Romans remains an elusive mystery, much like a fully functioning update."), we beset to do the unimaginable. Perhaps the delegate of Soviens had believed his position incontestable. Perhaps, having hidden behind his 2 endorsements like a impregnable fortress he had believed himself to be untouchable. However, the brave (oh god not this again) rushing into his so called "sanctuary" proved him wrong once and for all, as powerless defenders stood and watched in awe as we demolished his TWENTY FOUR HOUR (

) reign.

Liliarchy clashing head to head with the delegate in a battle of epic proportions.

Unsatisfied with these already magnificent achievements, we struck out at what was long believed to be one of the strongest military orgs in NationStates, finding supporters all over GP and threatening the existence of one of our worlds most sacred and precious treasures. However, thanks to our efforts this Major, the blasphemous Anti-Panda Brigade and its fraternal Anti Panda Movement took a hard, bordering on unbearable hit with the fall of it's 2 main regions - Anti Panda and Anti Panda Brigade, leading to bamboozlement and pandamonium amongst leading political experts across NS who had to this point believed the so called "arChinamies" of pandas to be the leading NS political and religious force, followed by "Violetism" and "Making bad jokes about TSP coupers, toxic defenders, Unibot, and the rest of Roavin".

Chingis strikes the fatal blow to a Panda defector seconds before the regions are stormed.

I think this would be a nice place to stop actually. A good solid amount of hits 'n all that. Good game, well played etc. Except its not that simple. You see, all of the above hits were pointed by just A SINGLE PERSON. With this, as far as I know, and I believe I know well enough, Liliarchy is now the record holder for the most pointed hits in a single update. However, for those quick cookies amongst you, I'm sure you've already realized that one point means one team. Now, we would really like to say that this is the one team record for hits in an update, as long as you exclude 2+ hour updates where Predator, an illegal triggering tool was used. But unfortunately we can't do that. Because this record, a WHOPPING 88 HITS, doesn't need to exclude 2 hour updates OR Predator triggered updates. We beat them all.

But that's not all funnily enough. We also had a training run going this update. Now with a slight deal of smugness, I must say that for most other orgs training run means maybe 10-15 triggers for low-experience taggers, maybe 5 or 10 for complete newbies. However, we are LILY. And we don't let our newcomers off that easily. So that being said, our completely novice and inexperienced newcomers rounded off this update with a nice little set of 31 hits listed below. I must say I am beyond impressed and utterly hyped to see what this up and coming generation can pull off.
