Interviewer: Hello, thank you for taking the time to do this interview with us. Why don't you introduce yourself first.

Liliarchy: Yes, hello. My name is Liliarchy, former Supreme Commander, two time delegate of Lily and current delegate of Edel. I'm very happy to do this as this is a big step for the region!

Interviewer: Alright, let's get started. You say this is a big step for the region, could you outline how exactly this affects Lily and its politics?

Liliarchy: Great question. Let me fill everyone in on where this all began. The first references of trilobite actually date all the way back to 2017. Of course, back then trilobites were a fresh, brand new idea that set our regional identity wildly apart from every other region. We had something that no one else did and we were very proud of it. This whole time it was a privilege and joy of multiple generations of Lily members. Fast forward to now, 2022 is coming to an end and trilobite is approaching 5 years of service. In that time many things have changed, both internally and on the interregional front. We've found that while for the original scope of its operational existence trilobite has done exceedingly well, in our ever expanding demands it has been lagging behind. A new fresh idea was needed and is long overdue. I for one am very surprised at how long trilobite has lasted.


Interviewer: So, the poll. As far as the records show, there was no poll to vote trilobite in originally. How was it decided upon and why the change?

Liliarchy: Correct. Trilobite was implemented in the very early days of Lily. It was decided upon in the then tight circle of original members. We are quite lucky that what has worked for us then has continued to work for us for so long. You could call it either, luck or a case of extreme forward thinking. Obviously the region grew considerably since and the inner command circle has no hope of adequately addressing the needs and views of every member accurately. A public vote was the obvious choice.

Interviewer: What of the results? Were there any surprises or has the vote developed as you expected?

Liliarchy: Haha, well I can't say any of my predictions turned out true. It was a wild ride from beginning to the end. It was always going to be an uphill battle for the newcomer. For a time it seemed as though trilobite would continue on indefinitely. I can not blame anyone for voting that way. Lily would continue as it is now and all in all that would hardly be the worst outcome. It was an emotional vote for many, especially older members, who remember the early days. The majority saw a different way forward and ultimately decided on the Sugar Glider by a large margin. I am extremely hapy with the results and I am equally pleased with the turnout.


Interviewer: Some have been calling for revotes, recounts and alleging voter fraud. What is your take on this?

Liliarchy: Yes, that is true unfortunately. It is a bit upsetting but within parameters given the sensitivity of the vote and its polarizing nature. The poll was held in public, all the votes are there to see. No unruly campaigning or god forbid intimidation occured according to our internal investigation. We dismiss these claims with a clear conscience. Democratic principles are being upheld and I have no doubt this rift in the public is temporary as people come to appreciate benefits and new opportunities that Sugar Glider provides.

Interviewer: Let's wrap this up. Final thoughts. Any fears or predictions?

Liliarchy: Well, among all the exciting new prospects, there is the small fact that the Sugar Glider is indeed a marsupial. No way around that. Obviously this means some serious political considerations for Lily going forward. I am however confident we will glide over this obstacle gracefully, much like a Sugar Glider would!

"You guys look like a bad video game crossover!" he shouted, dodging a low-flying drone. Despite the madness, our heroes' determination (and Sweeze's headbutts) paved the way to the Video Game Emporium, where they triumphantly acquired their 35 games, each title a testament to their wild journey and a secret weapon against their pursuers. As they made their great escape, games in tow, they left behind a bewildered military, a confused Canadian, and a laughing Vara, proving once again that in the world of adventure, it's the oddballs who have the most fun.
