...bloody hell. NationStates wasn't created until 2002, yet this guy organised an R/D conference in the nineties?

Just another reason why he is a good choice simply amazing foresight :p

Resolving issues before they even happened. A true sign of leadership.

Queen Yuno wrote:I did a lot of thinking and can't think of any veteran raiders who haven't been nominated yet. I can only think of the active newblood, due to them being the ones I raided alongside with.

Kawaii Village, Vandoosa, Ever-Wandering Souls, August, Altino, Rigel's Light, Maria, Derps/Pz4, Chingis, Tawks, Tom Vasentius (1 year HYDRA Director before he retired,) Kyorgia, Gibraltarica/Vapid_Vasentius ( He spent hours setting up raids of lots of targets) , Rai/Eclipse(I don't know much about this one, he did sleepers), I raided with Elindra once, Anera (LWU, retired), Satya Romefeller (retired(?) Leader of Hellenic), Knot, Owen, Vac, Karenus, Kleo(Ex-Firehelm), Don/George Mountbatten, and Gladio I guess.

Greyview, Liliarchy, and Valkyrie became pros only just this year so it's too soon whereas the above list includes people who've been at it for 2 years or more.
Nakari and Varax are ex-raiders I'd have recommended otherwise.

Sorry if this list seems relatively new. But I really don't know raiders who've been at it for 5+ years who are still active modern-day enough for me to meet (Who've joined in 12/31/2015 and DEN the next day.) ((EDIT:: Except Koth; I think I'll nominate him too if he's not already in HallofFame.)) I don't know old names, only people I've met personally. And I'm considered new myself, so....... thanks for reading.

I'm a vet! But if you nominate me, you're definitely scraping the bottom of the barrel.

Koth would be a good choice.

Second Benevolent Thomas. He expanded the scope of raiding raider regions (still raiding tho.)

[violet], for famously saying that there's suppose to be an invasion game.

That moderator that inspired Scardino to create the LWU.

sedge for defending raiding in Moderation.

Neutered Sputniks for deleting Grub.

Don't be so modest, Cormac. BT can't come close to touching you in regards to controversy including, but not limited to raiding.

It was actually during the summer of '69.

I second the nomination of Koth.

I'm also going to second the nomination of Sedgistan. When the Predator scandal hit, not long after the illegal recruitment scandal, Sedge had to argue in his capacity as a moderator with NS staff against dumping raiding on its head. If it wasn't for Sedgistan going to bat for Gameplay two years ago, R/D may not be here now.

I nominate Yuno.

I think she is doing a great job in the West Pacific, and the hundreds of other regions she raids for.

I nominate Kraketopia.

He's served eight times as Europeia's Grand Admiral (second to only CSP iirc) and was instrumental in building the ERN to what it is today. He once said "When I took office, someone with Kaboom's credentials could have been GA." (This was back when I was a rookie who barely knew what I was doing.) He helped turn the ERN into a major force in the world of raiding.

I nominate Knot, aka Ivo aka T.E.Lawrence. Knot only was he a General in the DEN, but served in several other lesser orgs until re founding The Invaders. Love him or hate him, his mastery of raiding regions like Russia, Eternal Scholars, California, South Pacific, Singapore, Social Liberal Union, and countless others clearly puts him in a class of raiders above and beyond most.

Also, if we are talking about pulling a raider from the group GTF aka General Tommy Franks, aka Mississippi Rio aka etc all. He is a monster that recieved a lifetime ban, for sexual harassment and threatening to kill players. He is the WORST Commander of the DEN, appointing a fenda spy (The Ref Factions Gripps)as his 2nd in Command.

The Jolly Rodger was a failure as an org and dead with Franks in 6 months.

Also he was an rigorous and unrepentant UN multier at the time, yes UN you NOOBS.

That org that got shut down by the mods for cheating? Good Leadership 10/10

I am sure BT, before you quit the game then graced us with your return (of the Jedi) that you had such hate in your heart. However this is an INVADER award, and this Invader NOMINEE HAS BEEN PUT FORTH. A fenda cheerleading him would be an atrocity.

Go fan your little feathers elsewhere, raider business is afoot.

I would also like to formally nominate Tom Vasentius. His work as the second director of HYDRA Command was superb. He was an excellent leader on the battlefield and off the battlefield and led Hydra through its best days as a region including the capture and refounding of The Place that Has No Big Banks, The invasions of regions such as Japan, Singapore, Belgium and Dank Memes, and leading hydra to great success on the tagging fields leading some of the largest tags of the early post predator era. He is without a doubt one of the great raiders of this young generation, and despite us no longer working together (not sure if he even likes me anymore), I cant think of anyone who deserves this honor more than him.

You're acting like he was responsible for the entire demise of DEN or something. Knot was by far my favourite general in DEN, where he was crazy active in organizing and participating in raids. In TI as well, he organized more or less every occupation we've done with incredible skill. Knot was, is, and always will be an amazing leader and raider, there's really no denying that.

I saw a couple of people nominate Koth, which I fully support. Though they failed to provide a reasonable explanation of why he should be nominated, which is an essential in my mind.

Koth has been a great contributor to the history of raiding. He was here long before I stepped foot on this game so feel free to add in any notable achievements of his that I have failed to include. Koth was the co-founder of the Brotherhood of Malice, which is famous for a number of invasions and operations including the refounding of Assassins and assisting Lone Wolves United in the refound of Hogwarts.

Koth joined the Black Riders in October of 2012 where he advanced to the rank of Colonel. He was awarded the Bronze Star on December 7th, 2012 for meritorious contribution to The Black Riders. He was also awarded the Silver Star on March 29th, 2014 for efforts in Operation Typhoon. Among these are many other notable raids and achievements attained during his tenure as a Black Rider.

On December 10, 2013 Koth, with the help of Cormac and Brotherhood of Malice co-founder Venico, replaced Asta's interim regime with the Osiris Fraternal Order along with exiling a number of Empire and defender subversives from Osiris. These actions were extremely influenced by the Brotherhood of Malice, and were instrumental in making Osiris the only raider aligned GCR that exists today. On April 18th, 2016 Koth assisted Cormac and Tim in the coup of Osiris that created the current government of Osiris today, informally referred to as "OFO 2.0."

Koth also served as Pharaoh of Osiris and co-founded the Sekhmet Legion, the operating military of Osiris on September 19, 2013, where he - successfully refounded Islamic Republics of Iran (after Cormac lost internet for a month).

He has also been conducive in many operations organized by the Black Hawks where he currently holds the rank of Colonel, the second highest rank achievable, excluding the rank of Commander in Chief. He was Appointed to The Council of Hawks as a Field Marshal on May 8th, 2014 and now serves on the Council of the Hawks as Technical Wizard, in charge of forum administration.

Koth is a great contributor to the history of raiding, and should be honored with an induction to the raiding hall of fame. He incorporates his older raider methods into present-day teaching and operations, helping the legacy of raiding survive. Not only is he a great teacher, but he's a good guy and one of my best friends on the game.

tl;dr this guy did a lot of shit before most of you were on this game and he should be remembered for it.

I second this nomination. Tommo is a capable and reliable commander whose leadership has not only kept Hydra afloat but made it peak during his service.

Also, not sure if i am able to second more than one nomination but i would like to second Ivo's nomination as well. He is an excellent commander and a very skilled raider with many tricks up his sleeve. It has been a pleasure raiding by his side, and it has been fun watching him operate on the field. Aside from managing to contribute to basically every raider org he was part of in the early days of him switching, he was also a major contributor to the military success that DEN has experienced during its latest incarnation. After that he proceeded to build a powerhouse military from scratch and pull off operation after operation before retiring to his position of military adviser.

Seconding Sygian's nomination of Koth.

I also second Belschaft's nomination of Mallorea and Riva and will fill in some additional information. Mall has consistently been lead for some of the most epic and destructive raids. I honestly couldn't name them because my memory is crap these days, but surely The Black Hawks could fill in the blanks for the judges; much of it can also be found in his condemnation. He has also been a consistent advocate for griefing, even taking that advocacy to the Gameplay Summit that took place in 2012, which was a pretty ballsy move. He shared the rogue Delegate nation during Milograd's coup against the South Pacific in 2013. Last, but certainly not least, Belschaft briefly mentioned his Liberate Haven proposal. It's worth a reminder that he put that proposal forward shortly after being named a moderator, and it created such a backlash with the RP community (and some GPers, myself included) that there was a sustained firestorm in the Security Council and in Moderation demanding his removal as a moderator, which is something that almost never happens.

Finally, I nominate Abbey (Andacantra) as a somewhat outside the box nominee. Her raider region, Cat Burglars, may have been somewhat short-lived in its activity, but she had a significant impact on advancing the cause of moderate raiding not only in the Cat Burglars but as a consistent advocate for moderate raiding policies in major gameplay regions. Abbey is a big part of the reason Europeia won't participate in griefing to this day, and she also helped shape the anti-griefing policy of The North Pacific, both of which have in turn influenced anti-griefing policy in other regions that look to TNP and Europeia for leadership and seek to emulate the examples they set. Abbey showed that a style of raiding that involved minimal damage could still be fun and provide plenty of opportunities for military activity for raider regions and other regions that conduct raids, which is sort of a contrast with my seconding of Mall's nomination. Two very different styles of raiding, two pretty remarkable contributions to gameplay.

Yes there is. When he stopped having the luxury of being in an organization that cheated its way to victory, his "amazing" leadership lead The Invaders into the ground. Yeah, what a raider.
